Xie an (320385), a famous politician and scholar in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, was born in Yangling, Chenjun county (now Taikang, Henan Province). In the reign of emperor Jian Wen, he was the governor of Wuxing. He opened Guantang in the west of the city and made profits for the people. His name was Xie Gongtang. Emperor Xiaowu was appointed as the commander of Zhongshu and the leader of Shangshu. In the eighth year of the Taiyuan Dynasty (383), he commanded the "battle of Feishui" and defeated the Qin army. Later, he was pushed out of Guangling (today's Yangzhou) because of the internal struggle. He soon returned to Beijing and died of illness. Xie Anyuan was buried in Meishan, Jiankang (now Nanjing). In the 11th year of Chen Taijian (579), Shuling, the second son of emperor Chen Xuan, excavated Xie's family and abandoned his coffin to bury his biological mother Peng. At that time, Xie Yiwu, a descendant of xie'an, was the magistrate of Changxing County. He moved xie'an's coffin to sanyaguang.
In the period of Tang Fenchang, sanyagang belonged to Wan'an township. At that time, xie'an's tomb had tombstones, tomb pillars, etc., and there were 16 odd places to walk. In the first year of Kangding (1040) and the fourth year of Zhiping (1067) of the Song Dynasty, the city decrees were rebuilt and tombstones were erected. Huang Guangsheng and Li Xiangzhong, the county magistrate, rebuilt their tombs in 1533 and 1642 respectively. In 1799, Xing Shu, the county magistrate, and Xie Qikun, the descendant of Xie an, the governor of Guangxi, rebuilt the cemetery and Taifu temple.
The tomb Temple of Taifu xie'an was destroyed in the "Cultural Revolution". There are only two tombstones left. One of them is the tombstone of Jiaqing period, which is now kept in the township government; the other is built into the channel pier. The tomb has been rebuilt.
