It is one of the oldest brick towers in China. It is a key cultural relic under provincial protection and has high historical, scientific and artistic value.

Main attractions
Next to huita, there is an ancient tower top cover made of pig iron. When the tower was built, because the top cover of the tower was too heavy to be lifted, it had to be shelved beside the tower. Therefore, there was a saying in ancient times that "Huizhou ancient pagoda has no shadow, Lianzhou ancient pagoda has no top". The whole pagoda is a wooden pagoda. It was built into a pavilion style brick Pagoda in the Tang and Song dynasties. The exterior wall is earth red, the plane is hexagonal, and the interior is a bucket arch structure. The body of the pagoda is hollow, there are terraces to climb, and each floor is surrounded by an ambulatory. The height of the pagoda is 49.86 meters, and each floor is built with brick corner columns. The layers decrease upward, showing a linear contraction, and the shape is beautiful. Standing next to the tower, I obviously felt that the central axis of the tower was not vertical, but inclined to the West for more than 1 meter. It turned out that the base of the tower was built on the top of a small stone mountain. After thousands of years of wind and rain and crustal movement, the base of the tower changed slightly. It was high in the East and low in the west, causing the tower to tilt to the West.
Today's huge metal tower top, despite 1500 years of wind and rain, has no rust on its smooth surface. Local old people recall that in the era of steel smelting, some good guys came up with the idea of "round iron knot". They used axes, hacksaws, and even set up coal stoves to burn firewood. They tried their best but could not hurt half of the metal tower top Strange. No one knows what kind of metal is on the top of the tower.
The mysterious legend of the ancient pagoda and the top of the pagoda has aroused the interest of many TV stations and newspapers in Hong Kong. They also sent a film crew to record the charming posture of the Huiguang pagoda. The history and culture of the Millennium "Oriental leaning pagoda" spread all over the world.
