Huaiyin museum was built in March 1959. It used to be an exhibition hall. It is located in the former government courtyard of Jiangsu Anhui border region (now No. 30, Huaihai South Road, Huaiyin City). In 1960, due to the streamlining of the organization, it was incorporated into the cultural center of Huaiyin special district and became the organization in charge of cultural relics work in the cultural center.

Development history

In 1961, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of culture, Huaiyin District Museum was established, which was separated from the cultural museum. The museum is located in the north corner of Chengnan Park (today's Qingyan garden). It is the unit and organization of cultural relics management in Huaiyin area. In 1965, the city and county were divided and renamed Qingjiang Museum. It was under the leadership of Qingjiang Culture Bureau and entrusted by Huaiyin culture and Education Bureau to take charge of the cultural relics and Archaeology work of the subordinate counties in Huaiyin area. In 1968, he worked with Qingjiang library. In 1974, he moved back to the former site of Qingjiang Museum and restored the establishment and name of Qingjiang Museum. In 1978, a new museum was built at No. 11, Gongyuan North Road by using the legacy of Returned Overseas Chinese Mr. Zhang De and local financial funds. It was completed and relocated in 1980. In 1983, the regional construction of the city was abolished and it was changed into Huaiyin Museum. It is subordinate to Huaiyin Culture Bureau.

It is adjacent to the ancient canal in the South and the old dyke wall in the north. Originally, because it was located in the polder and moat, the rain flooded the country. After liberation, the people's government built a pool, planted trees, built a fence tree tower, and turned it into Chengbei Park (now known as shitahu Park). Green water, green waves, flowers and trees, lake light, tower shadow, visitors. Huaiyin Museum has been integrated with shita lake and children's palace. It is becoming a resort for people's rest, entertainment and sightseeing.

Collection

Based on the museum display, historical documents and archaeological excavations, combined with a large number of beautiful and vivid folk myths and legends, and using a large number of pictures, models and material materials, the long history of Huaiyin's liquor making industry is displayed. More than 40 historical wine vessels collected by the museum and folk treasures are also on display. The exhibition is divided into four parts: the origin of wine, wine and culture, Huaiyin, the hometown of wine, and Huaiyin famous wine. Huaiyin's splendid wine culture is vividly remembered, especially the Huaiyin wine style, wine custom, wine etiquette, and wine rules on display, which are just like a colorful picture of folk customs. The last part of Huaiyin famous wine in the museum displays more than 100 famous and special products. It gives people a sense of beauty.
