It is formed by the confluence of big river and small river, and traverses the whole territory of Tongren from west to East. It is like a jade belt winding Tongren City, forming many wonderful natural landscapes. The twelve sceneries of Jinjiang are: Dongshan pavilions, mainstays, the sound of clouds and rivers, the spring scenery of the two rivers, the night moon of the fishing beam, the writing style of Lingyun, Jinlin swimming, guiliao in Xiling, Qingxue in Yuping, Feiquan in Nanyue, Chaotian in Shihu and Languang in Liudong.
Legend: in the confluence of the two rivers, there is a rock named "Tongyan", which is the symbol of Tongren. It is said that once upon a time, a bronze man floated from the upper reaches of the river when the flood broke out, and stopped walking at the confluence of the two rivers. The local people knew him as an immortal. They brought him ashore and built a ancestral hall for him to live in. After the immortal lived down, he went to the riverside to release the Golden Duck every day. After the news spread, two foreign robbers sneaked into Tongren, covered the Golden Duck and prepared to escape. At this time, the immortal arrived and flew stones out of his sleeve. The stones turned into ten thousand tons of huge stones, which pressed the robber and the Golden Duck into the bottom of the river to form a copper rock. The immortal turned into a copper Bodhisattva on the rock. Therefore, Tongren gets its name - Tongren is also called "Tongren".
