Shanghai Yichuan park is located at 93 Yichuan road. It is adjacent to Yichuan road in the west, Luoshan road in the north, and five villages in Yichuan in the East and south. In 1995, the park covers an area of 18800 square meters, with 16 employees and 370400 annual visitors. The layout of the park adopts the format of Chinese classical garden, including imitation grass Pavilion, kiss cloud arch bridge, Ping Shui Qu bridge, waterfall Pavilion and statue. In the park, there are Han Bai jade "flowers fairies" sculpture, lying in the flowers blooming in the four seasons, symbolizing the essence of Zhao flower garden.
Development history
The garden site originally belonged to the Zhaojia garden, which included more than ten villages and farmland. After liberation, Yichuan, Taishan and other new villages were built here successively. In order to provide local residents with a suitable recreation place, a park was built in 1980. Yan Wenwu, the design office of Shanghai Bureau of landscape architecture, is responsible for the overall planning and greening design of the project, which is constructed by Shanghai landscape engineering company and other units with a total investment of 545000 yuan. The project was started in November 1984, completed on April 16, 1986 and opened to the public on May 1, 1986.
The layout of the park is in the form of Chinese classical garden. Using the original terrain, the park is surrounded by Yingshi landscape bonsai, waterfall Pavilion, rockery, waterfall, grass Pavilion, mushroom Pavilion, Pingshui curved bridge, stone arch bridge, fan-shaped corridor and "hundred flower fairy" sculpture.
Main attractions
In front of the distribution square at the entrance of the "hundred flower fairy" Sculpture Park, there is a large rectangular stone bonsai, surrounded by irregular stones, climbing plants attached to the wall, and springs flowing into the basin on the rockery. The front of the bonsai is a half round flower bed, and the back of the bonsai is covered by Magnolia grandiflora and cypress balls. On the right side of the bonsai is a sculpture of "hundred flower fairy", carved with a piece of white marble weighing about two tons. The sculpture is designed by the sculpture art creation room of the city landscape design institute and is exquisitely carved by Suzhou craftsmen. The sculpture stands among the flowers, which is particularly white and beautiful. It symbolizes the scene of flowers blooming in Zhao's garden in the past.
Yuanhu, Yingque mountain
The lake is located in the center of the garden, with an arc shape and an area of 1186 square meters. Yingque mountain is located in Hunan Province, facing water on three sides. The mountain is made of 700 tons of Taihu stones, 7 meters high and covers an area of 1800 square meters. The top of the mountain is built in the shape of a tiger head. There is a rockery cave under the jaw. The waterfall in the tiger mouth flows into the lake along the stream. In the south of Shandong Province, there is a stone arch bridge called Qiyun bridge, which is 2.8 meters wide and 11 meters long. There are stone railings beside the bridge. Bridge across the lake, East lawn, West and rockery Hukou across the island. The hexagonal waterfall Pavilion on the island covers an area of 18 square meters. The pillars of the pavilion are all made of stone. On the top of the pavilion is a sharp top with a stone peacock. Sitting in the pavilion, you can have a panoramic view of rockery waterfall and lake pool, which is a good view in the garden.
Imitation grass Pavilion, wisteria veranda
On the south side of the park, there are three circular pavilions of reinforced concrete structure. The three pavilions are scattered in height, with diameters ranging from 2.8 meters to 3.7 meters. Because the pillars of the pavilion are in the shape of tree trunk, the stools are in the shape of tree stumps, and the top of the pavilion is in the shape of straw. In the north of the pavilion, there are scattered Lake stones near the lake, and in the south of the pavilion, there is a clump of trees and bamboo forest. Along the lake embankment to the northeast is the wisteria veranda. The flat top veranda in the middle of the veranda is 7 meters long and 3.2 meters wide. The two scaffolding connected with the South and north end of the veranda are 5 meters long and 4 meters wide respectively. The corridor and shed are fan-shaped, both of which are reinforced concrete structures. In the corridor, there is a grinding stone terrace, and beside the corridor, there is a grinding stone bench. In front of the corridor is a 1.6-meter-wide and 7-meter-long arc-shaped flower bed, in which thick wisteria and Aucklandia are planted, and its branches and leaves are wrapped around the corridor and shed. In the west of the corridor is the bluestone terrace square, with an area of 228 square meters. Around the square are Platanus acerifolia, maple, etc. It is a place for tourists to exercise in the morning and for fans to gather. It is a famous "opera corner" nearby.
The lawn is located in the south of the central part of the garden, covering an area of 650 square meters. The lawn is surrounded by flowers and trees such as Albizzia julibrissin, Begonia, iris, Canna, Michelia, Cedrus and camphor.
The teahouse and terrace are located in the northwest of the garden. The teahouse is of brick and wood structure with red flat tiles on the top of the hill, covering an area of 187.5 square meters. The platform in front of the teahouse is a reinforced concrete structure, covering an area of 173.4 square meters. It faces water on three sides. The concrete column and iron railings are set beside the platform. Visitors can watch yingqueshan waterfall across the lake. Osmanthus fragrans, oleander and Rhododendron are planted in the east of the platform, and red maple, coral tree and willow are planted in the West.
There are 8 rose beds of different shapes and sizes on the west side of the west main road of rose bed garden, with a total area of more than 100 square meters. More than 70 varieties of rose are planted in the flower beds, among which autumn moon, Caiyun, puzzling and Lvyun are the best.
Green planting
The plant configuration retains the characteristics of the original Zhaojia garden, with rose in the West and wintersweet and osmanthus in the East. The garden is divided by Cinnamomum camphora, Magnolia grandiflora, Ligustrum lucidum and Cedrus deodarum, and a large number of Ginkgo biloba, palms, Podocarpus arvensis, Gardenia jasminoides, Nerium indicum, mosquito mother tree, hypericum, Hibiscus syriacus, red leaf plum and Campanula are planted. There are 104 species and 3884 trees in the garden. The ratio of arbor to shrub is 1 ∶ 3.87, and that of evergreen to deciduous is 1 ∶ 0.68. The flower bed area is 530 square meters, and the lawn area is 973 square meters.
Service facilities
There are animal turntable, big apple turntable, elevated bicycle, electric horse, rolling pearl turntable, swimming dragon, bumper car, battery boat, electric train, laser shooting, etc. The service facilities include teahouse and sales department, which can accommodate more than 200 tourists.
