The scenery of Xingxing bamboo sea is different in four seasons. In spring, the flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and bamboo shoots are springing up one after another; in summer, the branches and leaves of Hsinchu are dancing, graceful and green; in autumn, the sky is high and the clouds are light, the wind is clear and the moon is bright, and the bamboo sea is vast and undulating; in winter, when the snow is early, the bamboo trees are everywhere, and the scenery is beautiful. The star bamboo sea is now divided into five scenic spots: Wanxiang garden, mini garden, Liufang garden, lover island and Shilong scenic spot. As a new tourist resort, Xingxing bamboo sea has attracted friends from more than 50 countries and regions and nearly 100000 overseas tourists. Party and state leaders Li Xiannian, Chen Pixian, Wang Renzhong, Song Ping, hu Qili, etc. have visited here successively and given high praise respectively. In 1987, the National Tourism Administration appropriated funds for the construction of lookout tower, pailou, hexiangju and other tourism facilities.
