Nansha Longxue Island

Nansha Longxue island was the base and cave dwelling place of pirates in history. Up to now, the famous pirate Zhang baozi's hiding cave, Baozi cave, has been preserved on the island.

There are dozens of residents on the traditional Longxue island. Longxue island is the development site of deep-sea wharf of China Shipbuilding Corporation. There are four 50000 ton container terminals in Nansha port area, Nansha international logistics park and Nansha Port Area Phase II project under construction. It is the future port logistics center of Guangzhou. The newly developed island has more builders and workers in the port area and logistics park than the original residents.
