Yashan historical relics exhibition hall
Yashan temple is located in Guanchong Township, Gujing Town, Xinhui City, Guangdong Province. It covers an area of 121.5 mu, also known as Quanjie temple. The township is called "guomu hall". It is the place where the last emperor of Song Dynasty established the capital. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Premier Zhou Enlai, vice chairman Dong Biwu and President Guo Moruo all expressed their concern when inspecting the Yashan temple. With the support of the local government, overseas Chinese and domestic enthusiasts, the Yashan historic site has been restored to its original appearance for tourists to read.
Historical evolution
Yashan temple is located in gujingguanchong village on the east side of yahai. It was built in 1469 (the fifth year of Chenghua in Ming Dynasty), 1544 (the 23rd year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty) and 1922 (the 11th year of the Republic of China). After many renovations, it was destroyed by Japanese invaders in 1939. After the founding of the people's Republic of China. It was built many times on the site.
Detailed introduction
Yashan temple is built in the north of Yashan, overlooking Yamen in the south. It covers an area of 16500 square meters and a construction area of 2500 square meters. On the main archway, "Yashan Temple" is written by Chen Baisha with Maolong pen. There are 16 buildings in the temple, such as Yashan historical relics exhibition hall, Ciyuan temple, Sanzhong temple, Yishi temple, Empress Dowager Yang's palace, Silver Pheasant Pavilion and wangya tower. The temple is built in palace style, with red walls, yellow glazed tiles and Xieshan peak. The temple is covered with trees, simple and solemn.
Ciyuan temple was originally called "Quanjie Temple", commonly known as "national Mother hall". It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Xinhui City. With a construction area of 1600 square meters, it houses statues of Empress Dowager Yang and Shaodi Zhao Min, and displays their life stories and historical materials about the Southern Song Dynasty's small court's escape to the South and even its demise. In front of the hall is a garden house, and on the left and right sides are a stele Gallery, displaying more than 60 stele inscriptions of Shici, which are written by famous contemporary calligraphers and recorded by celebrities of past dynasties. There are also two large white jade reliefs: one is "the grass market of Xingchao" and the other is "the great naval battle of Yamen". On the left side of the hall is the exhibition hall of ancient steles of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Sanzhong temple, originally known as Dazhong temple, is a temple dedicated to Wen Tianxiang, Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie, the important ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty. On the lower left side of Juci Yuan Temple, there are statues of Wen Tianxiang, Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie inside. They look solemn and majestic. On the four walls are displayed the life stories of the three of them and the odes written for them by the literati and poets of the past dynasties.
The Yishi temple was originally called "zhongyifang". At the lower right side of juciyuan temple, it commemorates the soldiers of the Southern Song Dynasty who died in the battle of yahai and the Zhishi of King Qin. The central hall is inlaid with large-scale painted murals of the battle of yahai. In addition, historical relics of loyal and righteous scholars such as Wu uplift in Taishan, Zhang Da in Raoping, Chen Bi Niang in Yunxiao, Fujian, Ma Nanbao in Xiangshan, Chen family in Li Jiamu, Dongguan, Xiong Fei, Su Liuyi in Jinghu, Hubei, Du Hu in Tiantai, Zhejiang and Chen Wenlong in Putian, Fujian are displayed in the temple
