Regong painting academy, founded in 2006, is located in Wutun village, Huangnan Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is a cultural and art institution with traditional Tibetan style. It is approved by the Qinghai Provincial Department of culture and registered by the industry and Commerce and tax authorities. Since the State Council approved the list of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage determined by the Ministry of culture in 2006, "Regong Art" has been listed among them. In June 2008, the third intangible cultural heritage day in China listed the "Regong" area as the third national cultural ecological experimental reserve after Minnan and Huizhou.

The purpose of Regong Painting Academy

Thangka is the concentrated expression of Tibetan Buddhist culture. Regong painting academy is a comprehensive mass cultural and art organization engaged in the exhibition, discussion, training and collection of "Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage - Regong Art". We are determined to carry forward, inherit and protect the national intangible cultural heritage.

Structure composition

Up to now, the Academy covers an area of 23 mu, with a construction area of 7500 square meters. Regong painting academy, with the functions of Tangka creation, research, exhibition, collection, training, production and sales, has led hundreds of local farmers and herdsmen to engage in Regong Art. The formation of art structure means the beginning of new thinking, aiming at inheriting Regong culture, revitalizing national spirit, enriching Regong culture and art atmosphere, and promoting Tibetan Buddhism culture and art. At present, there are more than 80 masters of Chinese arts and crafts, masters of Chinese folk arts, provincial and municipal painters, full-time painters, and unique Regong traditional artists. They are dedicated to art, support art, and love Regong, and gather in the Academy. All of them are drawing the development blueprint of Regong Academy with their different proprieties, insights and visions.

The Art Exhibition Department, art training department, art creation department and market outreach department set up by Regong painting academy integrate creation, research and production, integrate Thangka, duixiao, embroidery, clay sculpture, stone carving and copper products, comprehensively carry out cultural and artistic activities, and create a good service platform to serve the society wholeheartedly, integrate with various social groups, cooperate with enterprise groups and successful people The Regong painting academy has set up Regong Art windows in Beijing, Lhasa and Xining. At the same time, it aims to develop at home and abroad, let more people understand Regong, and let Regong Art go to the world.

As an enterprise in Huangnan Prefecture, Regong painting academy has been devoting major efforts to develop original design and carry forward the essence of Regong Art, spreading the essence of Tibetan culture. Regong has carried out cultural and artistic exchanges for more than 10 times, tutored and trained 58 painters. In February 2009, Regong painting academy, as an enterprise in Huangnan Prefecture, was established as the "cultural industry demonstration base of Qinghai Province" by the Department of culture of Qinghai Province, aiming to better promote the construction and development of advanced cultural industry in our province. In March of the same year, upon the inspection of the Qinghai Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Regong Painting Academy was established as the "youth employment and entrepreneurship internship base", which not only provides a platform for employment and entrepreneurship for college students affected by the financial crisis, but also cultivates a group of high-quality talents engaged in thermal engineering art, so that Regong Art can take a high-level development route. Regong painting academy also held charity activities such as poverty alleviation and education. In August 2009, we not only recruited 10 orphans from Huangnan children's welfare home, but also recruited more than 10 apprentices from orphans and poor families in 2010, so that they could learn Thangka painting skills for free. These behaviors have won the general praise and praise from all walks of life, and made due contributions to maintaining the social stability of our province and promoting the continuous innovation, reform and development of cultural industry in our province.

Although the road is endless and faraway, I still want to pursue the truth in the world. At present, Regong painting academy is in its young age, and has a long way to go. We firmly believe that the strong art line-up of the combination of the old, the middle and the light will have the "Three Represents" navigation, and all colleagues will make unremitting efforts. Under the leadership of master Niang Ben, the president of the Academy, the Academy will gradually melt into the tide of market economy in the new era, and constantly climb to the height, depth and advance with the times of national art.
