Sansha Liuyun cave

Liuyun cave in Sansha, also known as Huanchen temple, is known as "little Putuo in East Fujian". Facing the sea and the mountains, it is far away from Taiwan's Dongyin archipelago. The left and right mountains face each other, and the trees are green. Supported by natural pillars, a huge stone "a tile" forms a wonderful cloud cave.

The grotesque rocks around the cave are of different shapes. In front of the cave, there is a huge stone standing in the air near the sea. It faces ten thousand hectares of blue waves. It can cruise by boat, fish and cast nets.

Sansha Liuyun cave

Liuyun cave in Sansha is located on the cliff of dongbishan mountain in xierli, Sansha Town, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is commonly known as shicuo, also known as Huanchen nunnery "Magic dust Temple" is located in the stone cave. After more than half a century of development and construction, it has built magic dust temple, Liuyun temple, Guanyin garden, Maitreya garden, a large number of cliff stone carvings and many original stone Buddha sculptures, which make it full of rich Buddhist culture and known as "little Putuo in East Fujian". Liuyundong scenic spot is located in the mountains and faces the sea. It is far away from Taiwan's Dongyin archipelago, with jagged rocks, green ancient trees and winding paths. The central area of the scenic spot has been expanded to nearly 10000 square meters.

Development history

There are two kinds of legends about the name of Liuyun cave. One is that the cave is made up of two stones covered by a huge stone. It is commonly known as "shicuo". It is said that some people often stay on the shicuo from a small island on the sea of Sansha, so it is named "Liuyun cave". There have been couplets written by scholars and Mohists: Liubo pass on the lamp to see freedom; Yuntai Youdong realize the Buddha; second, Liuyun cave was first found by Zheng Biyun, the elder martial sister of Baiyan temple in Gangping, Fuding. One day, she dreamt of a cave in Sansha mountain. The Buddha light in the cave was brilliant. She got up and went to Sansha to find Mr. Du Yanggao and told him what was happening in the dream. So they looked for him according to the shape of the mountain in the dream. Sure enough, at the middle of the mountain on the east wall of Sansha mountain, there was a huge rock covering both sides of the rock, which was like a stone house, which could shelter from the wind and rain. Shitiaan, a famous monk in Taimu mountain, rushed to this place to meditate and chant scriptures for seven days, which attracted local villagers and devout believers. People were moved to clean up the cave and build a new nunnery. People wanted to keep aunt Biyun, so it was named Liuyun cave.

As for the name of the magic dust nunnery, it is said that Zheng shigu's dream pursuit implied that she found the holy place of Buddhism here, so she built an nunnery to practice and named it "magic dust nunnery". The couplet on the door of the nunnery is the evidence: "in the fantasy, the truth is still sought, the water and moon are empty; in the dust, the vulgarity is inevitable, and the spirit is supported by the mist and spring.".

Main attractions

In 1935, Seng ti'an and Ju Shi Du Yanggao built the "magic dust Temple" in the cave. Although the scenic spot was not developed for a long time, it won the favor of many scholars because of its beautiful scenery of mountain and sea, and the craggy rocks in the cave, leaving many couplet inscriptions, making it a famous Buddhist culture jungle. There are 18 sceneries in the area, such as cliff inscriptions, golden plate and peach. The grotesque rocks around the cave are of different shapes, such as camel watching the waves, Eagle watching the sun, jade rabbit watching the moon and lion playing with pearls. In front of the cave, there is a huge stone standing in the air near the sea. It faces ten thousand hectares of blue waves. The wave peaks are undulating and the waves are striking the shore. You can cruise by boat and cast nets by fishing.

Liuyun cave in Sansha has always been a famous tourist attraction at the junction of Fujian and Zhejiang, attracting tourists from all over the world to write poems and inscriptions. Many cliff inscriptions, such as sun Qiying's "a piece of stone opens up, a famous mountain comes out" and Chen Lifu's "Haidong resort, Liuyun Jisheng" still exist today. Since its opening to the outside world, Taiwan compatriots who have come to Sansha port for shelter and trade, and overseas Chinese who have returned to visit their relatives have come here to visit and pay homage.

There are inscriptions on guest stones, such as "the East China Sea resort, Liuyun Jisheng" by Chen Lifu, a political figure of the Kuomintang, Wei Yufeng, a former county magistrate of Ningyang County of the Kuomintang and President of Fujian relief hospital, Liu zizhao, a county magistrate of Xiapu County during the Anti Japanese War, and you shou, a late modern calligrapher There are more than 20 regular script of famous calligrapher Zheng naiyu: "Flowing Clouds listening to the waves" and Zhu Yisa's "Tian Feng Hai Tao". There are seal, Wei, Kai, Xing and Cao in different styles, which can be regarded as treasures of stone carving art, attracting tourists from Fujian and Taiwan to visit here. Liuyun cave is covered by a huge rock, so it is also known as "a tile". It is surrounded by strange rocks and rocks. It was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit in 1986.

Guanyinyuan

"Guanyinyuan" has been seen in Penglai and other places, but it is rare in eastern Fujian. With its unique geographical conditions, liuyundong guanyinyuan was built by digging mountains and digging stones.

The whole Guanyin garden is built on a one meter high platform with 34 stone statues of Guanyin Buddha. The middle one is several meters high, surrounded by dripping Guanyin, Ping'an Guanyin, Ruyi Guanyin and Songzi Guanyin.
