Daqing radio and TV Tower
Daqing radio and television tower, located at No.1, Dongfeng Road, Saertu District, Daqing City, has a total height of 260 meters, of which the tower is 159 meters high and the antenna mast is 101 meters high. The tallest all steel structure radio and TV Tower in Heilongjiang Province. In addition to Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV, Tianjin radio and TV Tower, Central Radio and TV Tower, Jiangsu radio and TV Tower, Liaoning radio and TV Tower, the sixth top towers in China. Built in September 1989, Daqing radio and television tower is located in the north of overpass of radio and television building. It is a symbol of Daqing social development. It has not only practical value, but also ornamental and sightseeing value. The tower weighs 2600 tons and is 260 meters high. The tower is hexagonal and the mast is quadrilateral. You can have a panoramic view of the city from the tower.

The diameter of the circumscribed circle at the bottom of the tower is 60 meters. It is the highest all steel radio and television tower in China.
It is located on a large reinforced foundation with an elevation of 147.4 meters. The tubular members of the tower structure are space truss structure connected with torsional shear high strength bolts. Platforms are set at 37m, 100m, 125m, 131m, 147m, 155m and 159M of the tower. The 147m to 159M platform constitutes the main structure of the tower, with a diameter of 20.6m and four floors.
A 3 M / s high-speed elevator is set in the center of the tower with a load of 1 ton. Zinc aluminum composite coating (metal thermal spraying) is used for anticorrosion of exposed part of radio and TV Tower. In the center of the tower, there is a transmitter room of reinforced composite structure, whose plane is triangular.

The foundation pile foundation structure of the whole radio and television tower and the transmitter room is explored with open steel piles, with an average depth of 27 meters, a total of 141 piles, 949.221 tons of steel for the foundation, and 2600 tons for the radio and television tower. There are 729 main components on the tower, and the main materials are ST45 and spv24. The mast of the tower is equipped with two sets of meter wave and decimeter wave FM transmitter, which can cover 5500 square kilometers of radio and television in the southeast and northwest of Daqing city.

The overall assembly plan of the tower was designed by Comrade Zhang Qinggui of the quality inspection department of the ethylene project headquarters of Daqing Petrochemical plant. The integrated method of forward and reverse assembly, lifting and jacking was used to create the original eight step assembly diagram and complete the assembly task by using its own structure. The total construction time of the tower is 233000, the commencement date is April 1, 1988, and the completion date is August 26, 1989.
