Bashang grassland in Guyuan

Bashang grassland in Guyuan

The main scenic spots are Jinlian mountain villa, which is 50km away from Guyuan County and 230km away from Zhangjiakou. It is 1800 meters above sea level and covers a total area of 60000 mu. It is a natural wild botanical garden outside the Great Wall. In summer, the Golden Lotus Villa is full of bees and butterflies, springs and scenery. Gushui Fuyuan resort is located 5 kilometers east of Guyuan County, covering an area of more than 30000 mu, of which the water surface area is more than 12000 mu. The vast lakes, the rugged Tanshan mountains and the endless natural grassland in the area attract the emperors, generals and literati of all dynasties to visit.

There are complete tree burial buildings and a large number of Imperial Palace sites of Liao, Jin and Yuan Dynasties in the scenic area. Along luanchi road to Houcheng village, you can see the huge "Red Cliff" on the right. The so-called Red Cliff is the famous Dishui cliff, known as "the first peak of Youyan" and "the first stone in the world". Under the sky, the red mountain is very distinctive, like a huge slice of bread standing on the plain. Because the rocks here are rich in iron, the mountain is red, which is called Chibi by the local people.

Here, Fengning Bashang, Weichang Bashang and Zhangbei Bashang form a confrontation. That is to say, from here, you can enjoy the grassland scenery of the northern part of the Great Wall. The altitude of laozhanggou forest farm is about 1400 meters, and that of Houcheng mountain area is about 800 meters. Wuhua meadow

Dressing house

Standing on the Bank of lightning River in Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou, 7.5km to the east of the county, the "dressing house" is the only complete historical relic in Bashang grassland and favored by experts. Its unique shape and unique style, is built in the Northern Song Dynasty for Xiao Hou dressing, so it is called "Xiao Hou dressing building". With mountains in the south, Luanhe River in the East and continuous prairie in the northeast, julou can see jinlianchuan (lightning River) and hulunao (white sea) from afar, and the magnificent ruins of Xinggong can be seen. The dressing house itself is well preserved, and the only one with special shape in the north is Yuan Dynasty architecture. Shaped like a Mongolian yurt, all built with green bricks. With a square plane and a side length of 9.3 meters, it is a common form of Lama tower. To the east of the south, there is an arched gate, with arched windows on the East and west sides, and an appendix on the top, and then the corner teeth are built on the top, which are divided into two layers. From the south gate into the middle, downstairs for the four corners, on the octagonal. The top of the bucket arch is made of four single layers. The upper layer of the bucket arch is stacked to form a huge dome, which is like a sky curtain. It is about 15 meters high. It is very mysterious. The top is hollow and covered with bricks. There are still walls and building foundations in the north of the dressing building. It is said that the dressing table of Empress Dowager Xiao was not built in the Liao Dynasty. According to the shape analysis, it was built in the Yuan Dynasty, and it should be a temple in the palace. The structure of the temple is different from that of the general temple. For example, the lower part is a square tower with a huge dome, which is similar to the medieval observatory. It is completely imitated from the form of yurt, reflecting the style and characteristics of national architecture.

"Empress Xiao" refers to Xiao Chuo, the empress of liaojingzong, the famous empress dowager Xiao, the mother of liaoshengzong in history. After the Regency of Xiao Chuo, the emperor of Liao, the Empress Dowager and the ministers of the tribe all settled down in Liangling and built the palace for the consecutive 16 years from the 9th year to the 25th year of Tonghe (991-1007 A.D.).

Iceberg beam

Iceberg ridge peaks, cliffs, ancient trees, wild flowers brilliant; streams, Ding Ding Dong Dong Dong, sometimes looming; valley fog, deep bottomless; look up, the head of wild grass, wild flowers swaying in the wind; bird's eye view of the wilderness, green, endless.

The characteristics of the iceberg Liang mountain peak are unique in North China, and the Ming Dynasty Great Wall Ruins, ancient beacon towers, scenery, myths and legends on the top of the mountain give it a layer of mystery. There is a deep hole on the top of the mountain, in which there is an endless iron rope. It is said that an iron rope binds a python. According to legend, the iceberg ridge in ancient times was called "Wulong mountain". There was a python on the mountain, which could swallow the clouds and exhale the wind and call the rain. Every three or five times, the python filled the mountain with clouds and fog, and the valley was flooded with torrential floods. The living beings were in full swing. The God subdued the boa constrictor and tied it to the deep cave on the mountain with iron ropes. Although it is a legend, it is also known as "Qipan mountain" because of the cloud and fog in the mountain, the iron rope in the deep cave and the stone still in existence. It's just a folk myth. The historical records can prove that Liu Ting, the great general of the Ming Dynasty, was trapped in the iceberg... The iceberg beam is a mysterious virgin land. In order to show this landscape to the world, Guyuan County government began to develop this natural landscape in 1998 and met with you in 1999. Grassland Lake

Grassland lake, the Pearl outside the Great Wall, is a unique plateau grassland scenery interwoven by grassland, river and lake. There are many animals and plants in grassland Lake area, many of which are endemic to grassland. Such as golden lotus, Papaver nudicaule, cleistoga uniflora, Saposhnikovia divaricata, orange ridge, Bupleurum chinense and other medicinal and ornamental plants. Jingming Palace

Shangdu of the Yuan Dynasty was the capital of Xia. The site is on the North Bank of lightning, 20 kilometers east of Zhenglan Banner, Inner Mongolia. In the Jin Dynasty, it was called jinlianchuan or Liangxing, with Jingming palace built. It's the place where the emperor of Jin Dynasty took refuge in the summer. In 1251, mengge Hohan took charge of the affairs of the army and the country in Monan Han with his brother Kublai Khan. Kublai Khan moved the government to jinlianchuan. In the spring of 1256, Kublai Khan ordered the monk Zicong (Liu Bingzhong) to build a new town, named Kaiping mansion, as a palace to the east of Huanzhou and north of luanshui (now the lightning River). In 1263, the emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty was promoted to Kaiping Prefecture as the upper capital to replace Helin.
