Qingshan Temple
Qingshan temple is located on the Ling mountain of masizhuang, laoshike village, shuidiwan Township, Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, so it is also called "masizhuang". The mountain faces east and back to the west, and the eight rivers worship each other. On both sides of the mountain, there is a bell and Drum Mountain.
Qingshan temple is built in accordance with the mountain situation, with layers rising, ingenious design and unique style. But see incense around, men and women appear from time to time, mysterious and deep. From the early 1980s to the end of the 1990s, gods appeared in all the villages, ranging from praying for rain, curing diseases, guarding houses, transporting, divining, etc. to removing diseases for livestock. They responded to every request and safeguarded the local people.
According to historical materials and legends, it was first built in the 18th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty, formerly known as Dashan. It was destroyed in the sixth year of the Yuan Dynasty (1276 AD). It was destroyed four times, and finally almost became ruins. The villagers worshipped the Buddha with a low and rough stone building, which lasted for hundreds of years until the whole temple was lost in 1892. In 1956, Wen Huiying, MI Dingwang and Tuo pilei invited back Zhenwu, the founder of Xuantian God in the Arctic, from Baiyun Mountain. Every year, March 3 of the lunar calendar is the holy meeting. During the Cultural Revolution (1963), temples were severely damaged. In the 1980s, the deities became holy again, and then Gao Jiuhai, the leader of the congregation, and his presidents led the surrounding people to donate money and labor to rebuild the temple for more than 30 years. It is beginning to take shape.
The architecture of Qingshan temple is very unique. The mountain gate is of two gates and three halls structure. The two gates are built in imitation of the archway. The eight characters "auspicious holy way" and "Ruyi Xuanwu" on the square are very eye-catching. The three halls are covered with eaves, which are respectively supported by four big red pillars. The top of the two halls on the left and right is hard mountain style. The middle hall is wide and tall. A Jingyang building is built on the top. The building is supported by 16 stone pillars. The ridge of the building is straight and straight, and the eaves angle is high. The whole mountain gate is magnificent. When you enter the mountain gate, there is a two-story attic in front of you. The lower floor serves as a passageway leading to the backyard. The upper front hall is dedicated to the jade Lord, while the back hall is dedicated to the Guanyin Bodhisattva, one Buddha, one Yang and one Yin. They are worshipped together and share fireworks. The bell and drum towers on both sides are of pure wood structure, with two floors up and down, brackets, cornices and colored glass paintings, which is very imposing. The high hanging bell is 2 meters high, and its sound is loud and long-lasting when it is struck with force; the big red drum is covered with copper, and when it is knocked gently, its sound will be crisp, and the sound of mountains and valleys will echo. Morning bell and evening drum should be one of the sceneries of Qingshan temple. After the second floor attic of the main hall of Qingshan temple, it is the largest building in the whole temple, covering an area of more than one mu. The top of the hall is a hard mountain style, and the ridge of the hall is decorated with animals. Before and after the division of the hall, the murals in the hall are painted in gorgeous colors. Qingshan temple, with its magnificent architecture and elegant environment, is a rare scenic spot!
