Chaozhou West Lake Park
Chaozhou West Lake, mountain lake green, lake mountain indigo. In the past, it was the moat of Chaozhou ancient city, commonly known as "chenghaochi". Today, with the westward shift of the focus of urban construction, it has become a green watershed between the old city and the new city, and also a link of the famous city Tenghui. In the implementation of the urban construction policy of "protecting the ancient city area and building a new urban area", the two should give consideration to each other and go hand in hand. If Chaozhou's urban construction planning has been positioned in the landscape garden style, then the West Lake is a green garden lung leaf in the ancient city area, which can be called the green pearl of the environmental protection city in the new century. In the past, the West Lake was a tributary of the Han River, and also a thin lake formed by the collapse of levees.
history
According to Fang Yu's summary, "it stretches for more than ten miles." It was not until the Tang Dynasty that the North dyke was built that it was cut off from the Han River and became a large lake. During the reign of emperor suzong of the Tang Dynasty (758-759), the emperor issued an imperial edict that 81 free life pools were set up in linchi and daiguo. This West Lake is one of them (in the past, the word "free life" was engraved at the foot of the West Lake, but now there is a pool in the south of Huxin Pavilion, which is called free life pool). Because Hulu mountain, which is close to the West Lake, has the function of natural barrier to protect the ancient city, the government of all dynasties paid attention to its construction and dredging. It is worth mentioning that in the Southern Song Dynasty, Lin Pu and Lin Guangshi, the prefects of Zhijun Prefecture, had a lot of construction on the West Lake and Hulushan. Lin Guangshi also wrote a "Xunhu Ming" to remain in the world. In the Yuan Dynasty, the war in Chaozhou destroyed the scenery of the West Lake. In the early years of Hongwu, due to the overhaul of Chaozhou city wall, a large number of stones were removed, and half of the lake was filled, which was called Chenghao. Later, some landscapes were rebuilt. In the Qing Dynasty, due to repeated wars, most of the West Lake scenery was destroyed. In 1673, a waist city was built in Xihu mountain to defend against the "San Francisco" rebellion. Liu Jinzhong's rebellion against the Qing Dynasty turned the West Lake into a military fortress with trenches, fences and battery. In the Republic of China, it was occupied by the warlord Hong Zhaolin as a private home - "Hongyuan". Therefore, some people summarize the brief history of the West Lake as follows: it began in the Tang Dynasty, was written in the Song Dynasty, was destroyed in the Yuan Dynasty, was prosperous in the Ming Dynasty, was in the Qing Dynasty, was not clear in the Republic of China, is now the lake green wave flat.
Introduction to scenic spots
In addition to the poetic scenery of "fishing rafts on the West Lake", along the lakeside to the foot of the mountain, there are many places of interest, buildings, pavilions and pavilions. Some of them are natural and some of them are artificial. The West Lake is always dressed up as a "beautiful and delicious" garden. And each scene has a nickname, such as "ancient cave Buddha lamp", "Narcissus moon". "Meizhuang new snow", "Zizhu bell", "diaotai autumn" and so on. Most of them have no trace now, but the moving legends are still talked about by people. Legendary is the "living cave" and Shouan rock under the immortal left topic. Behind the "Ligong Pavilion" in Beiyan, there is a narrow stone cave, less than 3 meters high, which can hold more than 10 people. Enter from the end near "Li Gong Ting" and follow the long and narrow cave road northward to another exit. The cave wall is also engraved with Yi epic. This cave is called "living man cave". It is said that in the year of Wanli (1592), someone came here to play. He was thinking twice about the name of the cave when he saw a child fall into the lake and went down to rescue him. So he named the cave "living man cave". There is also a stone inscription in the cave that describes the event at that time: "on September 3, Wanli Renchen, county people Lin qiaosong and Zhang Zhike, Liu Xingxue and Chen Ming boarded here. In the afternoon, they saw Cangtong drowning in the lake, saving the living book." This may be engraved by the child's relatives to thank the four "Heroes".
Shouanyan
Shouan rock is located in the northeast of huoren cave. It is a large-scale garden bonsai. There are three characters "shouanyan" and some stone inscriptions for recording events. The most interesting thing is that the stone wall in front of the rock is straight, like a knife cutting. There are two lines of poems carved on the stone wall: "if there are heavy guests coming to shanbaicui, who is less than donghuqing?". A large stone in front of the rock falls horizontally, on which are engraved the names of twelve Juren in the Ming Dynasty. Some people also call them "juzishi". These names are also lying horizontally. It seems that they are naturally inclined, but in fact they contain an intriguing legend. It is said that this big stone was originally connected to Shouan rock. Because of the beautiful scenery here, twelve Ju Tzu in the late Ming Dynasty took a fancy to this geomantic treasure land and carved their fame on the flat stone in front of the rock. They wanted to stay forever. However, after the Qing Dynasty was closed and the Ming Dynasty was subjugated, most of these candidates joined the Qing government and became officials of the Qing Dynasty in order to gain fame and fortune when the country was in crisis and the mountains and rivers were broken. At that time, Chaozhou was still in an unclear period. Every time Chaozhou people passed by, they pointed to the people who came down from the stone and scolded them. After a long time, even the rock felt very ashamed to be associated with these people. It is said that on a stormy night during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, thunder, lightning and "boom" broke the rock. The stone engraved with twelve pieces of stone fell from a high place to the foot of the rock like a knife. Half of it was buried in the soil. These names need to be seen horizontally. In the cut after the stone split, Chaozhou people saw the above two poems. Rough reading is like a general poem chanting scenery, but if you taste it carefully, it has a different meaning: "shanbaicui" is similar to "shankuai", and "donghuqing" is homophonic with "tonghuqing". Looking at the handwriting, it looks like it was carved in before the rock burst. No one can tell who dares to carve this poem with "anti bone" in the Qing Dynasty, so we can only call it "immortal guest left topic". In fact, it's just a legend attached to the association. Among the twelve Juzi are Lin Xichun, a Renwu Juren in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. He was a scholar in Guiwei. He went to the engineering department to serve as the left servant of Shizhong and Hubu. After returning to the village, he benefited the local people, built water conservancy projects, and advocated the construction of Jiangdong water tower. He did a lot of practical and good things for the people. When he died at the age of 80, he didn't work for the Qing government.
Stone Museum
To enjoy the West Lake, you may as well take a walk to Furong pool, where the winding paths lead to seclusion and the lotus fragrance is full of Suzhou garden charm. In the north end of Furong Pavilion, there is a "strange stone Museum" to show the wonders of nature. The west side of the pavilion bridge is now the West Lake Garden Management Office. The left wall of the cottage next to it is very thick. On the wall, there are four characters of "Shouan ancient wall" inlaid with blue porcelain. This ancient wall has a history of more than 360 years, and also contains a legendary story.
Shouan Temple
In the early Song Dynasty, this place was originally the address of zhouxue. Later, zhouxue moved to Jinshan in Fucheng, where it became "Jinghui Temple". In the Yuan Dynasty, Jinghui temple was destroyed by soldiers and rebuilt in 1593. It was renamed Shouan temple. One year, Gao, a magistrate of Haiyang County, suspected that his concubine had an affair with a monk in the temple. He held a grudge against him, so he secretly poisoned her to death and sent her coffin to the temple. He threatened that there were buried jewelry in the coffin. Later, he asked a prisoner to lie down in the temple, steal the jewels and put them in the residence of the monks. The magistrate led the soldiers to ambush the temple, led the soldiers to encircle the temple, arrested the monks, sentenced them to stealing the jewels from the coffin, and destroyed the temple, leaving only one wall. In the Qing Dynasty, someone built a small temple against this wall, called jiutianniang temple. In 1924, jiutianniang Temple collapsed. Today, it has become a snack bar for tourists to taste West Lake fish and Chaozhou cuisine.
Virgin Spring
More than 10 meters north of the restaurant is the most famous "Virgin Spring" in the West Lake. Virgin Spring hole, such as wells, three feet deep, the spring is extremely cool and sweet. Before the lake mountain was opened up, because it was originally a hillside, the spring was like a virgin who lived in a secluded valley and was ashamed to see people, so it was called "Virgin Spring". Chaozhou people like to drink Gongfu tea and specially hire people to pick up the spring water. It is said that the tea cooked with this spring water is very sweet and fragrant. In the past, Lin Dachuan, a Chaozhou native, tasted tea here. A poem said, "I don't know what spring Lu Yu came here to taste in the world?" And make Virgin Spring famous. Now, the garden workers operate Chaozhou Fenghuang Dancong tea house. The famous tea is accompanied by the best spring water, so that visitors can enjoy the wonderful scenery of the West Lake and enjoy Chaozhou Gongfu tea art. At the same time, they can hear some of the wonders, anecdotes and legends of the West Lake.
West Lake Fishing Raft
In the western suburb of Chaozhou City, there is a West Lake, which is close to Hulu mountain. The scenery is very beautiful. Once there was a foreign tourist who swam across the West Lake and sighed: "there is no such good lake and mountain in my hometown." There are also people inscribed on the mountain "picture of lake and mountain", which shows the beauty of the West Lake scenery. Chaozhou West Lake scenic area consists of Hulu mountain and West Lake. Since the Tang and Song Dynasties, until today, Chaozhou people have been used to drinking tea at the West Lake in their spare time, and the story of "fishing rafts in the West Lake" has been passed down in the "telling the ancient". Once upon a time, there was a boss Zhang in the north of the city who sold fish for a living. Every afternoon he would go to "Virgin Spring" to listen to anecdotes. Once, when passing by the lakeside Pavilion, I saw a fish, commonly known as "Yuhu", churning in the deep pool cave of the West Lake. Unfortunately, I didn't bring any fishing tools and didn't know the nature of water, so I had to go to "Virgin Spring" to listen to the ancient music. In the early morning of the next day, boss Zhang went to the fish market to buy fish. There were many kinds of fish in the warehouse. He was very interested in which kind of fish to buy. Suddenly remembered yesterday afternoon saw in the deep pool hole big fish, therefore chooses that kind of fish, unexpectedly that day business is particularly good. From then on, Ambassador Zhang went to Tanxue every day to observe fish samples, and he made a lot of profits from selling fish. After getting rich, Zhang set up a God card in his home and wrote "the God's throne of fish cave in the West Lake", offering incense and praying for a prosperous business. Therefore, the current "West Lake Fishing Raft" landscape was once considered by tourists as "West Lake fish hole", which is not without reason. Then again, one day, old Zhang's fish was sold out. It was still early for lunch, so he went to Tanxue to see the fish again. Strange! There is no fish in the lake, but
