Tianwei Township
Tianwei township is located in the south of Changhua County, Taiwan. It is a long and narrow rural area from east to west. It runs through the middle of the road. Yongjing Township in the north and Beidou town in the south. It is famous for its road garden. It is a professional flower production area. It was established in 1973 to open up a road garden sightseeing area, with Minsheng Road and Minzu road as the main sightseeing routes.

Definition of naming
This township is located in the middle of the province, downstream of the second channel of Babao, Zhuoshui river. The water flows from the second channel to the township through Tanzhong. The residents in the upstream call the downstream Tianwei, so this township is called Tianwei village. In October of the Republic of China, the province implemented local autonomy and renamed Tianwei township.

history
It was reclaimed in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. At that time, it was divided into Dongluo, dongxibao and wuxibao. During the Japanese occupation period, the residents in the upper reaches of the chuoshui river called it Tianwei village because of the lower reaches of the chuoshui River, which was under the jurisdiction of Beidou County in Taichung Prefecture. In 1945, it was renamed Tianwei township.
In the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the township was first developed by people from Fujian and Guangdong provinces. It was divided into Dongluo, dongxibao and wuxibao. The township is located in the lower reaches of the second channel of Babao in Zhuoshui river. The water flows from the second channel to the township through Tanzhong. The residents in the upper reaches call the lower reaches Tianwei. Therefore, the township is called Tianwei, which belongs to Changhua County. In the early years of the Japanese occupation, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhanghua branch of Taichung County. In the ninth year of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Taichung Prefecture and Beidou county. At the same time, it was renamed "Tianwei village". It was divided into eight characters: "Tianwei village, raopingcuo village, zengcuolun village, Zhenping village, xiaohongmaoshe village, haifenglun village, Dalian village and thirty Zhangli village". Each of them had one Baozheng. After the end of the Second World War, the administrative region belonged to Beidou District of Taichung County and was renamed "Tianwei village" In October 1950, Taiwan implemented the adjustment of local autonomous administrative regions and assigned the township to Changhua County.
