Fenghuangzhou Park, Chaozhou

Fenghuangzhou park is located at shazhoutou under Hanjiang Bridge, which was built in 1999. The park landscape is one of the eight scenic spots in Chaozhou, where "Fenghuang Shiyu" is located. It is said that in ancient times, Fenghuang on Fenghuang Mountain often visited the green sandbank in the middle of the river to inhabit and play with the scenery of "three mountains and one water" in the Fucheng of Chaozhou. In 1568, Chaozhou magistrate Hou bideng visited Shazhou many times, praising its quiet and elegant scenery. He thought that it was the legendary habitat of Phoenix, not the place where crows cast themselves into the forest. Therefore, he changed the original name of "laoyazhou" to "fenghuangzhou", and built a stone platform more than ten meters high, named "fenghuangtai". Since then, it has become a scenic spot for tourists to see the beautiful scenery of Hanjiang River and appreciate the "Phoenix when it rains". "Fenghuang Shiyu" describes that when the air is high and cool on that day, visitors can look on the stage, but they can see the blue sky and the white clouds. They can see the peaks of Fenghuang from afar, stretching continuously and connecting with the sky; they can see Jinshan, Hulu mountain and Bijia mountain near, and the three mountains are surrounded by the ancient city; the river water passing through the bridge is divided into two streams, which is exactly the scene of "three mountains and a half fall outside the blue sky, and two waters are divided into Egret Island" in Tang poetry . Most of these scenes have been lost due to the change of time, but "Phoenix Terrace", "Kuige" and "Tianhou Palace" have been destroyed and built repeatedly because of their wonderful landscape and signs of cultural prosperity. Fenghuangzhou Park, Chaozhou

Chaozhou Phoenix Island Park is located in the south suburb of Chaozhou City, at the head of sandbank under Hanjiang Bridge. It was built in 1999. He thought that this place should be the place where the legendary Phoenix lived, not the place where the crows cast themselves into the forest. So he changed the original name of "laoyazhou" to "fenghuangzhou", and built a ten foot tower in fenghuangzhou in the second year of Longqing (1568) The high stone platform is named "phoenix platform".
