Liuhua Lake Park has three big lakes and four small lakes, with subtropical scenery as the main feature. It is named after Liuhua bridge, a historic site of the Southern Han Dynasty, in the northeast of the lake. In addition, there is a bird island with an area of more than 3000 square meters. There are tens of thousands of egrets on the island, and there are bird watching teahouses and bird watching platforms. In the Eastern District, there are Xishuangbanna scenery garden - Mengli garden, and Shibao, waterfall, huanxinv, Dujuan garden, Nanhai fishing village restaurant. In the Central District, there are Rongyin kuidi, Xinguang Garden Restaurant and fitness music garden. Scale construction
The park is divided into three open areas: sightseeing and rest area, with palm plants as the main theme of greening, a school of South Subtropical scenery. There are some gardens and scenic spots, such as Mengyuan, Fuqiu, furongzhou, pukui dyke, etc., which reflect the Dai customs, and form a rest place for sightseeing. In the entertainment area, there are Pulin square, Baoxiang paradise and Rongyin playground with modern flavor, providing entertainment and leisure activities for tourists of different ages. There are agricultural parks full of fish, agriculture, garden, pottery and children's interests. Visitors can not only experience the fun of farm life, but also feel the comfort and pleasure of returning to nature. The flower and bird bonsai exhibition area includes the West Garden of "Lingnan bonsai house" with bonsai exhibition and stone appreciation as the main part, and the egret protection area and Liuhua bird garden with the name of "bird paradise in downtown area", which integrate landscape appreciation, bird watching and ecological protection.

Construction
Liuhuahu Park was built in 1958 by the municipal government to organize citizens' voluntary labor. At that time, it was under the management of Yuexiu Park Management Office in August 1965 and directly under the Guangzhou Bureau of landscape architecture in September 1980.
