Guanshan Lake Park

The biggest feature of Guanshan Lake Park is the scenery of lakes and mountains. Compared with other parks, the quiet and leisure here is beyond the reach of other parks. Guanshan lake and Jinshan Lake are separated on both sides of the highway. From Jinshan Lake Park, you can cross the bridge to reach Guanshan Lake Park. On the bridge, you can see three huge peppers, which are the "Pepper square" of Guanshan lake, and the ethnic square characterized by ethnic relief. The park is covered with green grass and verdant trees. The most interesting thing is that there are few egrets in the park.

Guanshan Lake Park

Guanshan Lake area is named after Guanshan Lake Park. Guanshan Lake Park is located on the north and south sides of Guanshan bridge, only 12 kilometers away from the central area of Guiyang. It is the central area of Guanshan Lake area, with a total investment of 1.255 billion yuan. The park includes Guanshan lake, North Lake and South Lake (formerly Jinhua Lake), and is connected with Guiyang municipal administrative center in the north.

Guanshanhu Park covers an area of more than 5500 mu, including 4160 mu of forest area. The park is lush with apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, peach trees and other fruit trees, as well as magnolia, sassafras, weeping willow, duying, Liriodendron, Magnolia Erqiao, Fatong, Liquidambar formosana, Magnolia grandiflora, Osmanthus fragrans, Ilex koraiensis, Magnolia officinalis, Acer palmatum, Michelia Lechang, Koelreuteria, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Cinnamomum camphora, gingko, cherry blossom Crape myrtle, pomelo and other kinds of trees, forest resources are extremely rich.

The water area of the ecological wetland composed of Guanshan lake and Jinhua lake is about 600 mu, attracting hundreds of egrets, wild ducks and other birds to inhabit here. The water body in the park is formed by the gushing of seven underground mountain springs, maintaining a balanced water level all the year round, rippling green water all the year round, which is the "green lung" of Guanshan Lake District.

Main attractions

Central Plaza

With a construction area of 70000 square meters and a capacity of more than 20000 people, large-scale activities such as the national get-together of the Ninth National Minority Traditional Sports Games, the Spring Festival lantern fair and Temple market of Guiyang Guanshan Lake Park in 2012 were held in the square. Lotus leaf field: the scenic spot is a lotus pond wetland with an area of more than 5000 square meters. A large number of lotus flowers are planted on the basis of the original aquatic plants in the wetland. At the beginning of May every year, the lotus is in full bloom, and wild ducks and fish can be seen playing among the lotus leaves.

Lake Island

The island in the center of Guanshan lake covers an area of about hundreds of square meters. The water around it is rippling, like two Jadeites dotted in the lake. Birds living nearby, including egrets, often fly to the island to have a rest.

Wetland around the lake

The two wetland ponds beside Guanshan lake are surrounded by more than 400 meters of wooden plank road and pavilion. There are a lot of aquatic plants in the pond, and birds pass by the lake from time to time, which makes people appreciate the original wetland scenery. Around the lake, it is like two satellites around Guanshan Lake, which make Guanshan lake beautiful. In response to the needs of the majority of fishing enthusiasts, Guanshan Lake Park Management Office has transformed the two wetlands around the lake into fishing Zone, for fishing enthusiasts to enjoy the fun of fishing.

Characteristic ancient pavilions: there are two stone pavilions with strong antique style beside Guanshan lake and in the center of Jinhua lake, named Changyin Pavilion and Canglang Pavilion respectively. Canglang Pavilion on Jinhua lake is a wooden structure pavilion with six corners and double eaves built in 1950s. When the park was built, the pavilion only had the broken eaves and walls. Now it has been "repaired as old" and completely restored.

Crape myrtle Garden

Crape myrtle garden full of crape myrtle, open in summer. There are ten pillars in the garden, which are carved with Chinese traditional famous flowers, symbolizing a better life. The pillars are made of Amber Stone from Sinan. The original construction design was to use granite. Later, the designer found this kind of Amber Stone in Huaxi stone factory. It is crystal clear and the carved flowers are more vivid.

Tonggu square

Covering an area of about 1000 square meters, the square stands with statues of Guizhou ethnic minorities. The main body of the statue is in the form of ox horn, and the figures below are dancing with Lusheng, which shows the lively scenes of Guizhou minority compatriots celebrating the festival.

Chili square

The square covers an area of about 2000 square meters, in which there is a group sculpture of "red days", three dried peppers with a height of more than 30 meters after artistic modeling. It is another masterpiece by Ren Bohan, a famous Chinese sculptor, after he created "Green Hope" and "Pentium" sculptures for the former Jinyang New Area. Mr. Ren Bohan gave this sculpture, which is worth more than one million yuan and symbolizes the prosperity of Lincheng, to Jinyang for free.

Children's activity area

The children's activity area contains 580 square meters of climbing net, large slide, small slide, trampoline, balance cabin, turntable, balance shaking table and other entertainment facilities. On the right side is a large blue maze. In addition, there are service points in the park, which can not only repair the amusement equipment in time, ensure the safety of children, but also provide more food experience in the near future.

Jinji Tonggu square

The square has a bronze drum sculpture of golden pheasant, 18 meters high, symbolizing good luck and happiness. It is a landmark building in the park.

National Culture Corridor

In order to welcome the Ninth National Games, the park has built more than 330 meters of Jiuqu wishing corridor, wishing pool, national culture corridor and ethnic dustpan painting which respectively display 56 ethnic groups and nine national traditional sports games, making the park full of national culture charm.

Guanshan Hunan Garden

It used to be the farm Department of Jinhua farm. Influenced by the Sino Soviet relations in the 1950s, the buildings of the farm Department are Soviet style. These buildings are the only Soviet style buildings in Jinyang. These buildings were preserved when the park was built, where visitors will be able to find some of Jinyang's past.

Jinguiyuan ecological forest

According to the green landscape improvement plan of Guanshan Lake Park, the park management office introduces tree Danmei from the land acquisition and demolition project of the new area.
