Tuoji Island

Tuoji island is divided into two parts. The eastern part of the island is called Dalu mountain, which is a military base with battery.

Tuoji Island

This inkstone is delicate, smooth, fine in the peak, soft in the hard, research ink does not foam. In the Qing Dynasty, Duji inkstone has become a tribute. In 1778, Emperor Qianlong wrote a poem for the inkstone: "there are five flat stones carved on Duoji stone. Why should we praise the horse liver when we receive ink?" Tuoji bonsai stone, which is mainly produced at the foot of Bawang mountain, belongs to "wave erosion banded sericite phyllite", containing 40% mica, 30% quartz, 25% chlorite and 20% other minerals. Therefore, the stone is mostly blue and white band color. Standing basin, horizontal leucorrhea like clouds around the mountains, vertical, like flying straight down, is the best bonsai.

Tuoji island is located in the middle of the Miaodao archipelago. In the south, there are nanqun islands composed of Changshan Island, Miaodao island and Daheishan Island, and in the north, there are North islands composed of nanhuangcheng Island, beihuangcheng island and Daqin island.

The bonsai stones and colored stones on Tuoji island are also very famous. Because there are white quartz and blue-green chlorite in the rocks of the island, they are arranged together, forming blue and white banded color stones. These colored stones are made into bonsai, which are placed vertically. If the ten thousand springs compete with each other, they are majestic; if the officials enter horizontally, the white clouds encircle the peak, which is ethereal and magical. ginkgo tree

There are two Ginkgo trees on the island, which are said to have a history of nearly a thousand years, and are still flourishing today. It is said that an old monk came to the island thousands of years ago. At that time, the island was still bare and desolate. The old mage wanted to change this situation, so he built a temple on the island and brought many tree species from the mainland. He planted a ginkgo tree in front of and behind the temple and took good care of it (it is said that the tree is divided into male and female trees, and the female tree is in front of the temple, and the male tree is behind the temple). The two Ginkgo trees were also sheltered by the Dragon King of the East China Sea. They were resistant to drought and waterlogging, and could not be shaken by wind and lightning. In a few years, the two trees grew luxuriantly. After the master died, someone in the village built a boat and wanted to cut down the tree behind the temple. As soon as they cut a few axes, the wind and waves suddenly rose on the sea, and the sand and rocks flew away on the land. People were frightened. They just moved the spirit root of the Dragon King, so they knelt down in a hurry and prayed that the Dragon King would calm down. From then on, people regarded them as sacred trees.
