Kaohsiung vision Hall (the former Kaohsiung railway station) is a building built during the Japanese occupation period. The main body of the station building adopts the imperial crown style architectural idea called by Japanese architects, with strong Japanese militarism color, with western style porch and hall, compatible with the structural form of Versailles Palace and Solar Temple. Driven by the policy of Japanese going south, it is endowed with the important task of promoting the development of industry and Commerce in Kaohsiung, which is the symbol of the times in the development process of Kaohsiung. In 2002, in order to cooperate with the construction of railway, mass transit and high-speed railway, the main body of the crown style building, which witnessed the development of Kaohsiung, was moved to the nearby open space and planned to be the vision Museum of Kaohsiung. It was installed as a digital museum to show the past life, present life and future of Kaohsiung.
