King Lo Ka Shuk is located in Tai Po Tau Village, Tai Po. The Dengs originally lived in Kam Tin, Yuen Long. In the 13th century, they moved to Tai Po and established Shui Wai. At the beginning of the 20th century, due to the construction of the Kowloon Canton Railway, Shui Wai was divided into two villages, Shui Wai and Tai Po tau. With the increasing development in recent years, villagers in Tai Po tau have transformed the original village houses or built additional small houses into multi-storey buildings.
Jingluo family school is said to have been built in the Ming Dynasty by Xuanyun, Meixi and Nianfeng, the 13th generation of the Deng clan, in memory of Jingluo Gong, the 10th generation ancestor. Jingluo Gong is honored as the founder of Liuguang Hall of the Deng clan in daputou. Jingluo family school was originally used as a family school. It was taught in the traditional way of bubuzhai. At one time, there were as many as 40 children studying there. In addition to being used as a book room, it is also a place for people's gatherings and festivals. Jingluo family school was changed into the school building of "Qizhi school", which was moved out in 1953 and then restored to the ancestral hall.
