Lantau Lighthouse

Lanyu lighthouse, located in Taitung County, Taiwan Province, is the lighthouse with the highest altitude in Taiwan. It is also the best place to see the sea. The nearby Red Head rock, Crocodile Rock, tank rock and five holes are all worth visiting.

Lanyu lighthouse, located in Lanyu, Taitung County, Taiwan Province, is 14.8 meters high and 216.5 meters from the high tide to the light center. It was opened in 1982.

Lanyu lighthouse is the highest lighthouse in Taiwan. Standing in front of the lighthouse, you can have a panoramic view of the northwest coast of Lanyu. It's the best place to see the sea. The nearby hongtouyan, Crocodile Rock, tank rock and wukonggou are all worth visiting.
