Hubei art museum is located on the East Lake of Wuchang, Wuhan City, with beautiful environment and convenient transportation. It is adjacent to Hubei Provincial Museum and is one of the landmark buildings of cultural construction in Hubei Province. The Museum covers an area of 15318 square meters. The main building has four floors above the ground and one floor underground, with a construction area of 25000 square meters and a total investment of 140 million yuan. It is built according to the functions and facilities of the art museum. There are ten exhibition halls in the museum. The exhibition area is about 5000 square meters, and the total length of the exhibition line is more than 1200 meters. Different types of exhibitions and different themes can be held at the same time or separately.

On June 14, 2020, according to the unified deployment of Hubei Provincial epidemic prevention and control headquarters, Hubei Art Museum and other five provincial public cultural venues will be reopened, and the public can enter the museum in an orderly manner by appointment.

The Museum covers an area of 15318 square meters. The main building has four floors above the ground and one floor underground, with a construction area of 25000 square meters. The total investment is 140 million yuan, including 100 million yuan for engineering construction and 40 million yuan for land acquisition.

It is built according to the functions and facilities of the art museum. There are ten exhibition halls in the museum. The exhibition area is about 5000 square meters, and the total length of the exhibition line is more than 1200 meters. Different types of exhibitions and different themes can be held at the same time or separately. The indoor space height of the exhibition hall on the first floor is 4.8 meters, and that of the exhibition hall on the second and third floors is 3.8 meters. Some exhibition halls are equipped with movable display boards and movable exhibition walls, which can change a variety of space layout to meet the requirements of different exhibitions. At the same time, the exhibition hall is equipped with central air conditioning system, constant temperature and humidity system, central monitoring system, fire alarm system, 24-hour alarm safety system and other advanced facilities.

In addition, it also has modern collection gallery, multi-functional academic lecture hall, VIP Hall, artist studio, art training center, movie hall, Chinese and Western restaurants, coffee shop and other advanced supporting service facilities. It is a high-grade plastic arts museum integrating exhibition, collection, research, education, exchange, service and other functions.
