So bacha daodai went back to the cave where he practiced and asked for Dharma protection. Then a bird came and took away the Dharma protector. Bacha daodai followed the birds along the right side of the cave through a river to the valley opposite the cave. It looks like the heart pit of Avalokitesvara when he lies down. There is a huge stone (the stone is as big as a room). When the bird stops DOMA on the stone, there are many miraculous signs. At the same time, mother asephra (Note: one of the Dharma protectors) shows up to greet him, expressing joy. From then on, athephoma has become the Dharma protector of dangka temple. Below the boulder, there is a white swamp. This place is very auspicious. Master lianhuasheng personally blessed this place), so bacha daodai built a temple here. When the temple was built, due to the lack of water, bacha daodai used his crutches to insert them into the soil, which naturally gushed water from the ground. (Note: this water source is still the important ganlufa spring in the temple.).
Construction process
Dangka temple has a history of more than 800 years since it was founded by bacha daodai (the first dumuqujie). During the period from 1958 to the cultural revolution, dangka temple was seriously damaged, and all its houses were destroyed. In 1981, the eighteenth dumutraj Rinpoche personally led the reconstruction. In the early days of reconstruction, it was very difficult and there was no funding at that time. Dumu Rinpoche sold his sisters' personal belongings, such as pearls and corals, and then hired a car to Suman township to exchange wood. On the way, it was a long way and the road condition was very bad. Sometimes the car gets stuck in the mud and can't be pulled out, so it has to stay in the car at night. And there is no food to satisfy the hunger, fatigue hunger, go through twists and turns. After the timber was transported back, because there was no way to reach the temple, the motorcade had to stop at the foot of the mountain. It was all carried by hand. It took many years to complete the first Sutra hall after reconstruction. (Note: the old 17 pillar Sutra Hall of dangka temple is the first Sutra hall built by Rinpoche himself and his monks after they came back to Suman Township and rebuilt it by hand.
Although the reconstruction project is due to the shortage of funds, it can only be carried out one after another. However, Dumu Rinpoche's great wish of benevolence and benefit has never been interrupted in the difficult situation. In order to be able to settle the monks and establish the masses, they successively completed the Shangshi yuan, the court of protection, and the closed house (Note: there are two closed houses, one specializing in the six dharmas of Nanuo, the other specializing in the great perfection. These two places can accommodate 30 lamas at the same time. )And the construction of the Sutra hall. In the middle of 1994, Rinpoche, the king of France, went to Hong Kong to promote the Dharma at the invitation of the Hong Kong karma Gaju center. Since then, disciples from Hong Kong, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Huizhou, Shanghai and other places along the southern coast have come to seek Dharma.
From 1981 to now, dangka temple has been reconstructed and expanded after several disasters. During this period, there were many practitioners gathering, and many of them achieved great success. Under the guidance of Dharma Rinpoche, there are more and more monks. So far, there are about 200 lamas. It is one of the largest temples in Yushu.
In 2003, in order to continue the life of Dharma lamp and wisdom, cultivate monks and benefit ten sides. We started to build the Buddhist Academy. The college has completed its construction and officially opened in 2005. After the reconstruction and expansion in the first stage, the monastery began to actively carry out the hongfalisheng cause of Sangha education in the second stage. With the sad wish of not seeking happiness for himself and hoping for all living beings to get rid of hardships, the monastery always thought about all living beings who are in the interests. Under the leadership of renbolche, the monastery implemented the whole task of hongfalisheng.
Temple host
When the abbot of Kaji temple, King muquji, was granted the title of "National Master of Buddhism" by the emperor in the Ming Dynasty, Quji was the meaning of King Dharma. Muqujifa king, the 18th public security capital, was the master of the 17th Karmapa Dharma king. It is the only great virtue to bathe, remove dirt and wear robes for the 17th Dharma king.
Regular law society
With the completion of the reconstruction of the temple and the establishment of the Buddhist Academy, in addition to the regular Dharma meetings in the past, dangka temple will also hold various kinds of Dharma meetings, such as guanding Dharma preaching or Kaishi Dharma preaching, etc. from time to time. At the same time, all the inheritors will be invited to promote the Dharma together. For example, the dabaofuzang guanding Dharma association from August to November 2005 is an example of Yancheng Dharma teaching.
Over the years, the regular Dharma meetings of dangka temple not only helped the monks to improve themselves together, but also gave their merits back to the ten believers and sentient beings in the Dharma circle during the Dharma meetings.
