Dukou Memorial

Dukou memorial tablet is located at the riverside of Nanpan River, Jiangbian village, Jiangbian Township, Mile County. It was first erected during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Now it was rebuilt in 1844. Dukou's monument is made of bluestone, 1.35 meters high and 1.13 meters wide, with regular script engraved on it. The full text of the monument is 3100 words. It describes that jiangbiandu was an important channel to Guangdong and Guangxi, where boatmen were arranged and land was allocated for support. It is an important material for the study of ancient transportation. In 1983, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Mile County.
