Shenzhu - another wonderful place in Qianhu mountain, is the work of nature. Address: from Shangri La City, 50km southward along Yunnan Tibet highway, you can get to Qianhu mountain in Tuanjie village of Xiaozhongdian township.

Transportation: Qianhu mountain is located in Tuanjie village, Xiaozhongdian Township, 50 kilometers south of Shangri La city along Yunnan Tibet highway. It is said that a fairy dress here, accidentally lost the mirror, broken lenses scattered in the mountains, became many lakes. They are all distributed at the altitude of 3800-4000 meters, which can be called the most concentrated place of alpine lakes in Yunnan.

The origin of Jisha Village

Jisha village is the only way to the mountain. "Jisha" is a phonetic variation of "Jishan" in Tibetan, "Ji" means water, "Shan" means blood, and together it means "blood". It is said that King Gesar once rode by Qianhu mountain. When he saw such a beautiful scenery, he could not help but make a deep impression on his horse's hoof, forming a magical milk well. People could live longer after drinking it. Later, Mu's Chieftain learned by accident. When the chieftain came to the well, he was very disappointed and said, "it's not milk, it's blood." Since then, the village has been called "Jisha". Of course, we can't find the legendary milk well.

History and Humanities

The large and small alpine lakes and wetlands on the top of Hushan mountain have not been systematically investigated, which is an important area in the biodiversity protection of alpine wetlands in Northwest Yunnan. In 1982, Kunming Institute of zoology investigated the vertebrates (including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish) in this area. Unfortunately, the data on birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish are scattered in some publications, and are not comprehensively integrated, while the data on vertebrates have not been published at all. There are many species of animals and birds in qianhushan, among which a considerable number are the first and second class national protected species. Therefore, the value of species protection in Jisha village is immeasurable.
