Houlongshan is a long island wedged into the center of Lugu Lake, meandering for 4 kilometers. Houlong is a male mountain god in Mosuo mythology. He and goddess gem are a pair of beloved lovers. They turn into mountain islands. They want to see each other across the sea during the day and "get married" at night to spend a good night together. Houlongshan is a wetland among the villages of the AWA tribe in Mosuo. It is a habitat for waterfowls in Pingba district with dense water and grass and abundant fish and shrimp. Every autumn and winter, a hundred birds gather, people walk by the water, birds are not surprised. Harmony between man and nature is a piece of pure land in the village community. Houlong mountain has both the beauty of mountain and sea. Along the ancient road of Houlong mountain ridge, you can see the "Caohai" on the left and the "LIANGHAI" on the right. The scenery is rich and the witty words are like pearls. "Going up the mountain to see the sea, going down the sea to see the mountain.".
Houlongshan
Houlongshan has towering ancient trees and lush new branches. The couplet describes houlongshan in spring, but I prefer houlongshan in autumn. Houlong mountain in autumn is lively and colorful. When autumn comes, nature is like a magic painter. She paints yellow, red and orange on a green canvas. The verdant hills are gradually stained and infiltrated by bright and warm colors, and green seems to set off. At the end of autumn, houlongshan is a colorful picture of autumn. There is no place that can better reflect the characteristics of autumn.
Introduction to scenic spots
There is a famous couplet in the Jiangwan of houlongshan: "water sticks to the lotus, money buys tens of thousands of hectares of lake light, and the mountains hang down with wooden pens to depict the spring scenery in two or three parts". This couplet is about the scene of houlongshan in Jiangwan.
Scenic spots
Houlong mountain is the most amiable in autumn. In spring, houlongshan is very humid; in summer, houlongshan is very dense; in autumn, houlongshan is our paradise. Although the trees are still very lush, the forest has become sparse. Moreover, when people go to the mountain in autumn, there is not so much opposition from adults, because there are many fruits on Houlong mountain at this time. In autumn, houlongshan is like a kind elder. Every time I approach her, I always get something - shiny chestnuts, bright red leaves
Scenic spot protection
The beautiful scenery of Peitian in houlongshan is inseparable from the ancient Hakka people's attention to ecological protection and persistent environmental protection consciousness. Peitian's Wu ancestors have been committed to the greening and beautification of the environment since the foundation was established. They planted large areas of pine and fir trees in Houlong mountain. After the small trees become forests, we also attach great importance to the conservation work. The protection of pine trees in houlongshan should be brought into the scope of village governance. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as the highest standard of village governance, it is recorded in the clan rules that "houlongshuikou keeps trees and defends Fengshui In case of stealing firewood and withered trees, digging Maple kernel and digging pine, we should immediately inform Dong Li to cooperate with the gentry to impose severe punishment. ". The guidance of clan rules makes environmental protection popular. Peitian's ancestors planted trees in many places besides houlongshan. In the late Qing Dynasty, with the decline of clan power, Peitian's insightful people timely chose the form of villagers' Autonomy - public welfare society, which was approved and authorized by the county government at that time, and the constitution of public welfare society was also made. Ecological environment protection has become an important work of public welfare society. Peitian people in the past created the fairyland in the mountains with their simple environmental awareness.
Since the 1980s, thanks to the reform and opening up and the subsequent development of Peitian ancient dwellings, Peitian people's life has undergone tremendous changes and initially achieved a well-off life. However, the environment of Peitian was damaged to a certain extent, especially houlongshan forest, which is the most important ecological forest in the northwest of the village. The trees in lishugang have been completely cut down. Only a few hundred ancient trees are left on the hillside next to the ancient houses. The ancient trees are surrounded by lush bamboo forests, and the growth space is occupied. Some villagers built houses on the slope to open up wasteland, and the vegetation was seriously damaged. Wu Xi, associate professor of Beijing University of chemical technology, and Wu Shuxi, former general manager of Sino German joint venture company in Xiamen City, and other eight people proposed to protect and rebuild houlongshan ancient forest to Uncle Fang of the whole village, and Wu Xi drove out the proposal overnight. Six measures were put forward, such as returning farmland to forest, protecting vegetation, planting trees, and cutting down bamboo forests. It was a resounding appeal to protect and rebuild the ancient forests in the past, so as to reproduce the beautiful scenery of the past.
