brief introduction
Zhangshan temple is located in Wenshan District of Taipei city. It was built in 1931 (the 20th year of the Republic of China). Its appearance is simple and steady. The temple mainly worships the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva. It has a history of about 60 years. It is said that in the early years of the Republic of China, the residents living near Zhanghu found a stone statue that looked like Guanyin Bodhisattva by accident, so they sincerely worshiped it with incense. Later, because of the increase of believers, the believers paid for the construction of the temple, and later built it in succession.
Zhangshan temple is located at the intersection of three hiking trails, including the Zhangshan Temple trail (also known as Feilong trail, guidao primary school trail and jiuqiangong trail) paved with stone steps along the way. Therefore, every leisure holiday, mountain climbing tourists and pilgrims come in an endless stream. It is a famous temple in the area. The broad square in front of the temple is an excellent place to overlook the surrounding scenery and the urban area of Taipei.
Zhangshan temple is located in Wenshan District of Taipei city. It originated in the early Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty when the sages crossed the sea to Taipei to cultivate Mucha area. During the Jiaqing period, more and more people came here to cross the sea. They gradually developed into mountainous areas and settled down on both sides of the mountain. Due to the terrain and features, during the Geng Wu period of the Republic of China, the residents living near Zhanghu found a stone statue similar to Guanyin Bodhisattva In the Guiyou year, Zhang Xi and Zhang Fa made a vow to build a temple, which was called "Zhangshan Temple" according to the place name. Later, the number of believers increased as a result of praying, so the believers spent money to build the temple. Later, the temple was built one after another.
architectural style
The appearance of Zhangshan Temple belongs to the architecture of the confluence of Buddhism and Taoism. It has the gold burning pavilion which is common in Taoist temples. But the traditional Taoist temples with carved beams and painted buildings and distinct "left Green Dragon and right white tiger" on the walls can not be seen at all in Zhangshan temple. It fully presents the unique simplicity and elegance of the monastic place. The gold characters engraved on the red pillars are a pair of thought-provoking couplets, which are not only the motto of believers, but also the calligraphy characters of regular script, Li script and Xing script.

The starting points of the three paths are located in Zhangshan Temple Square. The characteristic of the flying dragon trail is that there are continuous stones in the middle of the whole trail. From a distance, it looks like the spine of a dinosaur, so it gets its name. The trail is an ancient tea ceremony, from Zhangshan Temple steps down, the whole section of the trail from entering Zhengda campus to Huanshan Erdao mountain pass. On both sides of the trail, there are Pteridophytes of different shapes growing on the longan trees. Zhanghu tea mountain trail follows the field path of siminantou mountain, reaching Sanxuan palace. Before the opening of the guide industry road, this section is the main traffic trunk road in Maokong, Zhanghu, daolaokeng and aquankeng areas, and also leads to the famous Yinhe cave in Xindian district. At the exit of the mountain line is the Sanxuan palace. There are many tea merchants and teahouses offering tea nearby. It is just a place for tourists to have a rest after the hiking. Tianen palace is located in the third section of guidao Road, 100 meters away from the tea exhibition center.
