Detailed introduction
It was built by Yao Dengqi, an overseas Chinese, to fulfill his mother's wish. When it was built in early 1971, it was called "Dengming Palace". It is a small Taoist temple. It is called "lover's temple" because it displays the wax statues of Niulang Zhinu, Zhuo Wenjun and Lin Xiangru. At the end of 1989, it was changed into the Buddhist "Lighting Net Temple". The buildings were constantly expanded and renovated. Only 500 Arhats were built in the past. The buildings were mostly triangular in shape, and were designed according to the nine palaces and eight trigrams, which were made of 339 jade Ruyi. The lighting temple is located in the seventh Chongyang Road, in Wellington villa. The environment is elegant and quiet. It rises from the mountain gate, surrounded by solemn Buddha statues, reflecting the triangular architecture, with dazzling golden glass. Standing here and looking at the view of Tianmu city from a distance, I feel quite far away from the world of mortals. The environment is elegant and quiet. From the mountain gate, the statue of Buddha is surrounded by a triangle building, and the golden glass is dazzling. Standing here and looking at the view of Tianmu city from a distance, I feel quite far away from the world of mortals. It is a place with elegant environment and pleasant scenery. Young men and women have listed the temple as a good place for sightseeing, tourism and mountain climbing. In addition to offering sacrifices to the Virgin Mary, wax statues of Niulang and Zhinu, Sima Xiangru, Zhuo Wenjun and other gifted scholars and beauties of past dynasties were carved inside, as well as slogans praising love stories. As a result, most people call them "lover's temple". Therefore, many young men and women in love came here to burn incense and pray for a long time. Later, due to the lack of funds, all the wax statues were demolished, and the temple was transformed from a Taoist temple to a Buddhist temple. Instead, it was dedicated to Sakyamuni and Guanyin Bodhisattva, and received donations from believers. Five hundred statues of arhat can be seen in the pavilion beside the temple. They have different expressions and have a strong sense of warning the world.
