Sha Tin Park, formerly known as Sha Tin Central Park, is located at 2 Yuanhe Road, Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is adjacent to Shing Mun River, extends to Sha Yan Bridge in the East, lion bridge in the west, and adjoins Sha Tin Town Hall, city art gallery and new city Plaza. Covering an area of 8.05 hectares, the park took three years and cost HK $75 million to build. It was opened on August 24, 1988 and is now managed by the leisure and Cultural Services Department.
Shatin park is divided into several characteristic parks, planting more than 100000 plants, more than 400 species, among which there are many rare species. "Jiekechang" is located in the center of the park, connected with shatin city hall and Liyuan bridge. Adjacent to the center is a number of theme gardens, including the wall garden, Rhododendron Garden and Shishan garden. To the East is the "Liqi paradise" with Oriental color, and to the south is the "South Garden". There is an 18 meter high waterfall pouring down from the cliff to the big pool, which is connected with the lake island, arch bridge and pavilion. Adjacent to the South Garden, it is a Western Liqi park. The design of the North Garden is similar to that of the Chinese garden, with undulating "dragon back" walls and column style pavilions.

Shishan garden and Shiji garden are located in the eastern part of the park. At the south end of the park, there is a waterfall with a height of 18 meters pouring down from the cliffs of the hills to the big pool, which is connected with the island in the middle of the lake, the arch bridge and the Pavilion. Adjacent to the South Garden, it is a Western Liqi park. The design of the North Garden is modeled on the Chinese garden, with undulating walls and column style pavilions.

Special facilities
1. Art Gallery: from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the gallery will display works of art created by Hong Kong artists. It is a place for art lovers to display handicrafts such as painting, carving, calligraphy and pottery.
2. Bicycle kiosks: the public can rent bicycles, repair bicycles and buy snacks at the bicycle kiosks in Sha Tin Park, and enjoy cycling along the Sha Tin River to Tai Po Park.
