It was called "Western Park" and later renamed "Zhongshan Memorial Park". It commemorates Sun Yat Sen's activities in Sheung Wan and xiyingpan. Located in the south of the park and originally on the coast, it is also said that Sun Yat Sen went ashore when he came to study in Hong Kong from Xiangshan village.
There is nothing about Dr. Sun Yat Sen, a historical figure, in the park. It's just that there is a big stone on the grass with Sun Yat Sen's famous saying "the world is for the public" and a line in front of the gate of the park with the words "Zhongshan Memorial Park".
