Huguo suiliang temple, also known as "seven masters" temple, is a local temple built to commemorate an honest official in Ming Dynasty. It is said that there was a grain transport palace named Jin passing by Xitang. When the drought was serious, there were no grain harvests, and there were starving people on the road. With compassion, Jin privately provided food relief. When Jin Jieliang came to Beijing, the imperial court investigated the matter, and Jin died for the law. The people felt his kindness and built this temple to commemorate it. Gold ranks seventh, so people call it "seven masters". Every year, the third day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar is the "seventh master meeting flood". Therefore, every year on the third and seventh birthday of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, temple fairs are held here. On that day, people in Xitang will march on the streets and pray for this year, which is very lively.

effect
The local gods of Xitang are worshipped in the temple of the king of grain. The seventh Master goes to the temple fair on the third day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, which is very lively and full of local characteristics. During the temple fair, there are some folk art activities, such as horse racing, stepping on the white boat, Danghu boat and so on. Xitang's annual tourism festival also takes this day as its opening day.
origin
There is a local god in one place. During the reign of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, there was a famine in Xitang area. At that time, the seven masters supervised the yellow grain ship to pass by. Seeing that there were many hungry people, they poured out the imperial grain to the hungry people. Knowing that they could not escape the national law, they killed themselves in the yantawan river. The rescued people raised money to build temples to worship them. Later, the imperial court knew about this and was granted the title of the king of grain accompanying the protection of the state.
The scope of sacrifice to the king of suiliang was small, only in Weitang and Xitang towns of Jiashan, but it was a long time for local gods to be sacrificed. This just shows that: whether in modern or ancient times, honest and upright officials are too important for the people, and they can really make the people remember them. Jiashan people are indeed more generous. In the history of Jiashan, there will be no corrupt officials or corrupt officials, but no one has been scolded by the people till now. On the contrary, the seven masters have done good deeds for the people. People have commemorated them for hundreds of years, and they will certainly sacrifice them forever.
The original temple was destroyed after liberation. After the cultural revolution, around the third day of April every year, around the gate of the original site, incense kept burning all night, just like a big temple. How would you feel in this situation? Anyway, it's more touching than soap operas in Hong Kong! You will find that the so-called history is a living thing left in people's psychology. You can foresee that under the loose policy environment, people spontaneously rebuilt the new temple. However, due to the need of tourism, the government renovated the temple.
In addition, every year on the third day of the fourth lunar month in Xitang, a temple fair will be held in the seventh master temple. On that day, people in Xitang will march on the streets and pray for blessings, which is very lively.
