There is a Jiangshu railway exhibition hall in the park, which has the feeling of a platform. On the top of it is written "1907.8.23 Gongchen station", which is the starting point of the north section of Jiangshu railway.

There is a big bell tower next to the exhibition hall. The most attractive thing in the garden is the retro locomotive, which is parked on the track. It is said that Sun Yat Sen once sat on it.

The 16.135 km Jiangshu railway started construction on November 14, 1906. The line runs from south to north along the old city wall of Hangzhou at that time. Due to the relatively flat road, the construction process is very smooth. By August 23, 1907, the whole line was opened to traffic and started passenger and freight operation. From south to north, there are gates, Nanxing, Qingtai (now Hangzhou railway station), Genshan and Gongchen five railway stations There are two stations. Since 1909, the section from Zhakou to genshanmen of Jiangshu railway has become a part of Shanghai Hangzhou railway. On December 11, 1912, Sun Yat Sen took a train from Zhakou to Gongchen bridge via Jiangshu railway. Since the signing of the Treaty of Shimonoseki (1895) at the end of the Sino Japanese War of 1895, gongchenqiao area has become a Japanese "concession", and the market was once abnormal and prosperous. The opening and operation of Jiangshu railway also played a great role in promoting the economic prosperity of gongchenqiao area at that time. On the eve of the Anti Japanese war in 1937, Gongchen station had nearly 600000 passengers in and out of the station every year. In 1944, the Japanese invaders demolished the northern section of Jiangshu railway from genshanmen to gongchenqiao. The Jiangshu railway no longer existed and the subgrade gradually became a highway. After liberation, this section of road was officially named Shaoxing Road. To recreate this historical fragment, the Jiangshu Railway Heritage Park has been built and opened to the public free of charge. Gongchen station site of Jiangshu railway is located in the south of Dengyun road and the east of Jinhua Road. The bus stop is Dengyun Road station, covering an area of about 10 mu. In the park, facilities such as bell tower, waiting room, old locomotive and some railway tracks will be reproduced to create a strong historical atmosphere, and the history of Jiangshu railway will be displayed by means of artistic processing. After the completion of the park, it will become a unique Railway Heritage Park, adding rich connotation to canal tourism.
