Zigong Lantern Park is located in the golden area of Zigong City Center, covering an area of 10.3 hectares, including 0.75 hectares of water area. It is a comprehensive cultural park integrating gardens and recreation. It is the main venue of Zigong Lantern Festival. Lantern Park was built in 1930, named Fuxi Park, and renamed Huisheng Park in 1941. It was renamed "Zigong people's Park" in 1950.
