Yanzhou museum is located in the northeast of the city. The new museum was built on August 20, 1999, covering an area of nearly 20000 square meters and a construction area of nearly 10000 square meters. It consists of three parts: the main exhibition building and the "Duanxin" Guangchang Xinglong tower. The main exhibition building, with a construction area of 7800 square meters, is of Han and Tang Dynasty style, with a large inclined roof. Each of the four corners has a Han que, on which there are Dou Gong, Chi kiss and other shapes. On the dripping water of the tile, there are the words "Duanxin" and "shuangyao" specially made. In the middle of the steps in front of the gate, there is a stone named "Danlong", which is engraved with all kinds of explanations about Yanzhou recorded in Kangxi dictionary. On both sides, there is an inscription by Wang Zengqi that "Bai Yeshi is invincible, Yan is the emperor of the world". The whole building is magnificent, simple and elegant, solemn and generous, and echoes with the Xinglong tower. The main exhibition building is mainly composed of two floors, three floors in some parts and a basement. The first floor is the East and West exhibition hall, which is a large-scale photo exhibition of "Yanzhou in history, Yanzhou in the present and Yanzhou in the future". It shows the influential events and important figures in Yanzhou's development history, the great achievements of all walks of life in Yanzhou's modernization construction in the new period, and the prospects for Yanzhou in the future. The second floor is divided into five exhibition halls: boutique Museum, prehistoric Museum, the world's first sword Museum, Liddy Yigen Museum and famous calligraphy and painting Museum. The museum is divided into bronze hall, stone sculpture hall, gold and jade jewelry hall and porcelain hall. It displays more than 260 pieces of exquisite cultural relics, including "Soxhlet ware" and "sheep style ware" of Shang and Zhou dynasties, as well as bronze Buddha and bronze mirror of various periods, to "sacrificial ware of Yanfu Confucian Temple" of Ming Dynasty, gold and silver jewelry in the tombs of Lu Dynasty, and porcelain and exquisite stone carvings of various dynasties. Among them, piyong inkstone, hanging pillow and tricolor horse are rare. The prehistoric museum displays more than 160 pieces of cultural relics, including the Wangyin site, the Xiwu Temple site and the longwandian site. The first sword hall in the world is an iron sword, Zhenshui sword, which was made by Jin Yifeng, the governor of Yanzhou in the Qing Dynasty. The sword is 7.5 meters long and weighs 1539.8 kg. It is rare in the world and is known as "the first sword in the world". Li Di art root museum displays 150 art root works donated to his hometown by Mr. Li Di, vice chairman of China root art society and master of Chinese root art. Located in the basement of the exhibition hall, there are Han Dynasty stone statues of Lao Tzu and Sun Tzu, Tang Dynasty steles, Tang Dynasty Epitaphs and Buddhist statues of the Northern Qi Dynasty, especially the sand dune steles of the Northern Qi Dynasty, which are the most convincing historical materials of Li Bai's 20-year residence in Yanzhou. "Duanxin" square, covering an area of more than 6000 square meters, is decorated with exquisite stone carvings in the shade and surrounded by flowers. With many scenic spots, it is a place for sightseeing and entertainment. Located in the center of the square, the tripod was made by the bronze Research Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, with 369 characters engraved on its inner wall, recording the long history and culture of Yanzhou and its brilliant achievements today. In the southeast corner of the square is a hundred "Yan" walls, with 99 "Yan" characters in total, 50 of which are collected in ancient famous steles and placards, and the other 49 are written by Yanzhou leaders and members of literature and art associations at or above the provincial level. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che divided the whole country into 13 prefectures, one of which is Yanzhou, which has jurisdiction over 8 prefectures and 115 counties. Xinglong tower is of brick and wood structure. It was first built in 602, the second year of Renshou of Sui Dynasty. It was rebuilt in successive dynasties. It has 13 floors and 54 meters in height. It is an octagonal pavilion type hollow core mother tower. Around the tower, there are also historical stone inscriptions for people to watch. In August 2008, the underground palace of Xinglong pagoda was excavated, and some Buddhist relics and precious cultural relics were unearthed, such as Sakyamuni's gold dinggu relic and Buddha's tooth. After identification, the stone letter, silver gilded relic coffin, relic gold bottle and relic chronicle tablet are grade I cultural relics, and the white glass bowl shaped bottle is grade III cultural relics. The excavation of these Buddhist relics has important historical, artistic and scientific research value, and has produced great repercussions at home and abroad.
