Wuliutang is located in Yanjun Lane in the urban area. It is a residential complex of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The buildings continue the three historical periods of Ming, Qing and the Republic of China, representing the characteristics and style of Zhenjiang ancient dwellings. The five Tamarix trees in the courtyard echo the moral of the five willow hall. There are seven cottages and one library in front and back of Wuliu hall. Now the three cottages and one library are protected in situ. The first entrance is the nanmu hall, the second entrance is the inclined hall, and the third entrance is the attic hall, all of which are hard mountain style bungalows with three wide faces. Nanmu hall was built in the Ming Dynasty. The beams and columns were made of Nanmu. The beams and columns were huge. The columns were prismatic. There was a rolling brake on the top to lift the beams. There was no spine on the mountain surface. This example of song and Yuan Dynasty system is very valuable. The inclined hall was built in the early Qing Dynasty. The whole house is in an inclined shape, which is not on the same axis as the nanmu hall. The attic hall and the inclined hall are connected by the cloister, and the attic is attached between the East and the west, which is quite unique. The library, also known as Youjing building, has two floors. It is built in the Republic of China, taking Tao Qian's poem "Youhao lies in Liujing" as its meaning. It is Tao Pengxian's book collection and writing place. He once compiled Runzhou tangrenji and other books here, which has certain academic value. Tao family, the owner of wuliutang house, originally lived in Xunyang, Jiangxi Province. Later, he moved to Zhenjiang, and gradually developed into a giant of Jiang silk industry with the help of "Luosi" manual labor. The Tao family is the descendant of Mr. Wuliu Tao Qian, so it is named "Wuliu hall" to show respect for the ancestors. Tickets and opening hours

In April 1995, the Jiangsu provincial government announced that "wuliutang" is a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province.
The wuliutang building group, which is a continuation of the three historical periods of Ming, Qing and the Republic of China, represents the characteristics and style of ancient famous houses in Zhenjiang, and has important historical, artistic and scientific value. In order to strengthen the protection, from December 1999 to November 2000, Zhenjiang cultural relics management committee overhauled the building complex in line with the principle of "repairing the old as before, in order to preserve its authenticity".
