Xingyun Lake

Xingyun Lake is a lake formed by faults, which is mainly the result of Yanshanian movement, Himalayan movement and neotectonic movement. In the late fourth century, Yunnan Plateau kept moving. In 1922 (the eleventh year of the Republic of China), Qin Guangdi, the Daoyin of Mengzi, organized a large-scale excavation project for Xingyun and Fuxian Lake estuary. Some advanced tools, such as explosives, railway tracks and mining bags, were used in the project. The channel is 4-7 feet wide and 3-4 feet deep. The new river is more than two Li. Connect Qingshuigou (the outlet of Fuxian Lake), and extend and strengthen the stone dike. The whole project is on and off for 10 years. Traffic information

To Fuxian Lake, Xingyun Lake tourism, traffic is very convenient. There are two routes to choose from.

First, starting from Kunming. To the east of Kunming, you can take a bus to Chengjiang in about 1.5 hours (the whole journey is Expressway and secondary road, and the road is in good condition). To Chengjiang County, you can take a local minibus to luchong scenic spot. Here, you can see the beautiful Fuxian Lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery of plateau lake. Starting from luchong, you can also visit star fish cave, Biyun temple, Gushan, etc. on the way, then take a bus from Jiangchuan County to Yuxi City, and take a bus from Yuxi to Kunming (the whole Expressway).

Second: starting from Yuxi. When you get to Kunming, you can take a bus to Yuxi. After sightseeing in Yuxi, you can take a bus to Jiangchuan County.
