Development history

From March 27 to 28, 2015, Wang Qishan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, visited Henan Province for investigation and presided over a forum. Located on the east side of Lingyun Pavilion in the youth cave of Hongqiqu, the cliff peaks pierce the sky, and the cliff protrudes more than 10 meters outward. The cliff is dangerous and towering into the clouds.

During the construction of the red flag canal, some loose stones fell from the cliff and injured the workers. In order to reduce the number of casualties, it is necessary to have people who are brave, not afraid of sacrifice, and selfless to tie a rope around their waist and get rid of danger.

Ren Yangcheng, the leader of the danger elimination team, and his friends, like eagles flying in the sky, swing on the cliff for several times before they can swing into the tiger's mouth and get rid of the dangerous rocks. People call this kind of action "tooth extraction from the tiger's mouth". However, these brave men sometimes get bitten by tigers. Shengong shop

Located at the foot of Hukou cliff, it is the cliff where the canal repair workers lived. At that time, there were as many as 30000 or 40000 canal repair workers, and there were few villages along the Zhanghe River. The canal repair workers had no housing, so they stayed on the cliffs. When the cliffs were full, they set up tents and dug holes in the ground. All year round against the wind and snow, severe cold and heat, spent the hard years of building the red flag canal. They not only have no complaints, but also left a heroic oath on the cliff: "cliff as a house, stone as a bed, Hukou cliff to spend time, I create a great cause for future generations, do not build a canal, do not return home.". Shengongpu is the place where the migrant workers used to live.

Stele

The monument is in front of the youth cave. It is the title of the film "monument" that the film crew asked former president Li Xiannian to write in 1990.

"Mountain monument" is a TV film reflecting the development trilogy of Linxian people's war against Taihang, leaving Taihang and enriching Taihang.

Risk elimination in the air

Danger removal in the air is a kind of high-altitude operation method originally created by canal repair workers in order to blast on the cliffs and remove dangerous rocks.

During the construction of the red flag canal, most of the main canal was built on the precipices and dangerous peaks. After years of weathering, especially after mountain blasting, many of the blasted stones were still hanging on the cliffs, which seriously threatened the safety of the construction workers.

At first, due to lack of experience, they used bamboo poles to remove dangerous rocks. However, when the bamboo poles were too thin to pry, they had to be held by two people when they were too thick, which was neither convenient nor safe.

Ren Yangcheng, a goat worker, and his friends were determined to get rid of the bamboo pole and get rid of danger in the air. At their request, the general headquarters of Hongqiqu dispatched more than 30 strong migrant workers from various townships to form a team to get rid of danger in the air. So a group of waist rope, in the cliff flying to and fro between the rescue team has become a unique scenery on the red flag canal.

Iron girl

Every weekend in the peak tourist season, when you walk on the canal wall of the youth Cave Scenic Area, you will hear the sound of jingling.
