Yingluo mangrove is far away from the urban area. There are many kinds of marine animals, such as tide crabs, drum shrimps and so on. This is the habitat of dugong (commonly known as Mermaid), a national first-class protected animal, and also the habitat of egrets and many other seabirds.
When the tide goes down, you can see the mangroves as high as 8 meters, which are packed with roots and crowns. When the tide goes up, the tree crown is hidden in the sea, and you can go boating over the treetops on the sea, which is very interesting. It is worth mentioning that in the mangroves, you can also see the big trees on the diving fish, sea snakes dancing in the red forest and other wonders. However, since January 1, 2012, Yingluo mangrove forest in Yamaguchi has been temporarily closed to the public.
