Huachong Park

Huachong park is one of the eight parks in the overall planning of Hefei city approved by the State Council. It was built in 1959 and officially established Huachong Park in 1979 with the approval of the municipal government. The park was officially opened to the public on July 1, 1994. The park is located in Yaohai District of Hefei City, adjacent to East Changjiang Road in the north, 3km away from the city center, 2km away from Hefei new railway station and 14km away from Hefei Nanjing Expressway in the East. It is between the first ring road and the second ring road of Hefei City, with convenient transportation. The existing area of the park is 165 mu, with more than 20 mu of water surface. At present, there are 26000 trees and 21800 square meters of lawn. It is a relatively perfect municipal green space in Yaohai district. In terms of topography and planting planning, the park fully embodies the characteristics of flower and flush. The main layout reflects the natural slope potential as the skeleton. It mainly focuses on plant landscaping, highlights the characteristics of flowers, and maintains the modern Chinese garden style of flowers in four seasons. The architectural form is mainly modernist, combined with local characteristics. In December 2001, the overall adjustment plan of our park was completed. According to the adjustment plan, the park is divided into four parts: main entrance, land game area, water park, flower, bird, fish and insect pet park. The park is positioned as a professional amusement park mainly for recreation. The park adopts the principle of opening and construction at the same time, and gradually improves the infrastructure and recreational facilities in the park, so as to provide Hefei citizens with a good place for leisure and recreation. At present, the park has completed the following amusement projects: water world, roller coaster, bumper car, children's Park and pet park. Roller coaster is a large amusement project in our park, which was completed and opened to the public in February 2003. It's thrilling, exciting and fun. With an investment of more than 8 million yuan and an area of nearly 30 mu, water world is the only professional outdoor water park closely combined with garden style in Hefei, the provincial capital. Its clean and sanitary, reliable safety inspection, advanced equipment, advanced 24-hour circulating water treatment system, equipped with rainbow slideway, adult swimming pool, wave making pool, children's swimming pool, children's play pool, so that tourists of all ages and levels can find their own happy world in summer. Covering an area of nearly 10000 square meters, the pet park is the largest pet trading place in Anhui Province. There are more than 150 kinds of trees and flowers in the park, such as cedar, juniper, red leaf plum, French holly, poplar, Sophora japonica, Magnolia grandiflora, etc. Huachong restaurant and guest house are built in the East. In the west, there is a nursery of about 1.6 hectares, surrounded by brick windows, a children's paradise, two electric Pegasus and airplanes, and a skating rink and dance hall. In the south, there is a shade of seedlings, forming a forest belt of seedlings. In the north, there is a thick ancient locust tree, and there is a path in the middle. According to the scale, water quality and pollution situation of landscape water in Hefei, due to the poor circulation between water bodies, some reclaimed water treated by sewage treatment plants can not be replenished in time, and some human factors, even after the urban surface water and wastewater pollution source treatment has achieved results, the landscape water in Hefei still has the situation of stinking and blackening. Because there is a gap in the treatment of landscape water pollution in the park, Hefei Environmental Protection Bureau plans to adopt the method of ecological restoration for pollution control after extensive research on domestic landscape water treatment, and chooses Xinghua Park and Huachong Park as ecological restoration demonstration sites.

Traffic conditions

Huachong park is surrounded by convenient transportation. There is a planned Metro Line 2 on Changjiang East Road, north gate. In the future, the time to go to the urban area will be greatly shortened. East Changjiang street in the south, Dangtu Road in the East and Tongling Road in the West are the main roads in the east gate of Hefei city.

There are many large supermarkets and shopping malls near Huachong garden. There are Dongcheng Baoye Plaza (Carrefour), Wal Mart and Beijing Hualian (Heping Road store) in the south.

Bus routes

Take bus 2, 15, 115, 123, 135, 147, 151, 154, 159 to wulijing and walk for 9 minutes, about 640 meters.

Huachong park is located in East wulijing. Huachong nursery was built in 1960 and transformed into Huachong Park in 1980. It is named after Huachong in Hefei and belongs to Hefei landscape Bureau. Huachong park has an area of 11h ^, and the water surface is more than 1.3h ^. There are 26000 trees of various types, mainly Cinnamomum camphora forest, Metasequoia glyptostroboides forest and Pterocarya stenoptera forest, with lawn of 2.18h m2.
