The spectacular Pavilion is located on the top of Dahongshan mountain in Hongshan Forest Zoo, with prominent terrain. The pavilion built on the mountain can not only provide urban residents with a bird's-eye view of the urban landscape, but also be a place for cultural rest activities. It echoes Xuanwu Lake Park from afar, and will be an important part of the urban landscape. The original vegetation condition around the Grand View Pavilion is good, but there are few tree species and the landscape is monotonous. Therefore, on the basis of the original plants, some color leaf tree species, evergreen tree species and flowering shrubs are added, such as red maple, Acer palmatum, Cedrus deodarum, plum blossom, cherry blossom, peach, crape myrtle and so on, so that the landscape presents thousands of weather with the change of four seasons. The spectacular Pavilion and its surroundings are equipped with colored lights and spotlights to add a gorgeous landscape to the city's night scene. The main entrances and exits of the Grand View pavilion are located on the East and west sides of the pavilion. It is planned to set up 2.5m wide stone steps to connect with the main tour road of Hongshan Forest Zoo. Along the way, the rest benches and chairs should be properly arranged to meet the needs of tourists. The grand Pavilion is located near the mountain and has a spectacular view. When you climb up the mountain, you can see the scenery in all directions. The grand pavilion has played an important role in the construction of urban gardens.

Dazhuangguan Pavilion is located on the peak of Hongshan mountain in Hongshan Forest Zoo, Xuanwu District, Nanjing city. It was built on May 1, 2004 and costs 3 million yuan. It is a pavilion of Six Dynasties. Hongshan was called Dazhuang Guanshan in the Six Dynasties.

Dazhuangguan Pavilion is three stories high, with a building area of 878.72 square meters. All the decorations in the pavilion are made of calligraphy, painting and sculpture works of the Six Dynasties period, with distinctive characteristics of the Six Dynasties, and the lingering charm of the ancient style. From the grand Pavilion, visitors can see the beautiful Zhongshan Mountain in the East, the blue waves of Xuanwu Lake in the south, the vast Yangtze River in the west, and the Mufu mountain in the north, where they can experience the culture of the Six Dynasties.

According to the records of jiankangzhi, Hongshan is a part of Shanglin garden, a royal palace, which is surrounded by five li, eighteen Zhang high, Zhongshan in the East and Xuanwu Lake in the south. The rolling mountains and lush woods can feel the glory of the royal garden. "Chen Shu · Xuan Di Ji" says: "the emperor is lucky to read martial arts in a grand sight.".
