name
Tiexuan (1366-1402) was born in Chengguan of Dengzhou in Ming Dynasty.
Hong Wuzhong, a student of tiexuantai, was transferred to the governor's office to judge affairs.
He was quick witted and good at deciding prison. Zhu Yuanzhang thought highly of him and gave him the word Ding Shi.
At the beginning of Jianwen, he was appointed to Shandong to participate in politics and guard Jinan.
Zhu Di (the fourth son of Zhu Yuanzhang), the king of Yan, used "Jingnan" as an excuse to seize the throne. On June 8, the second year of Jianwen (1400), he came to Jinan. Tiexuan, the governor, is determined to stick to it.
Zhu Di failed to attack Jinan for three months and went to the city to persuade him to surrender.
Hyun leads the crowd to feign surrender, and secretly sets a Qianjin gate on the city gate. When the king of Yan enters the city, the iron gate suddenly falls and almost kills him.
In a rage, Zhu Di besieged the city with heavy troops and bombarded it with cannons. The city was about to be destroyed. Tie Xuan hung the portrait of Zhu Yuanzhang at the head of the city and wrote a large number of spiritual cards of Zhu Yuanzhang's God. The city was preserved because the Yan army could not fire guns.
Hyun also recruited strong men and sent out a surprise force to defeat the Yan army, so the Yan army broke through on September 4, and did not dare to go south through Jinan.
Xuan and general Sheng Yong joined forces to recover Dezhou counties. Emperor Jianwen promoted Tiexuan as the political envoy of Shandong Province. Soon after, he was promoted to minister of the Ministry of war and praised the military.
In 1402, after Zhu Di became emperor, he set up an ambush to capture tie Xuan and send him to Nanjing.
Seeing that Zhu Di was scolding, Xuan did not kneel down. When Zhu Di made it face north, it was impossible to get it. He died at the age of 37. The posthumous title of emperor Hongguang in the Southern Ming Dynasty was "Zhongxiang", and the posthumous title of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty was "Zhongding".
