In 1930, ye risong, the head of Lianzhou county (today's Lianzhou City), rebuilt the Academy into "Zhongshan Park". All the original buildings except Dacheng hall, liexiu Pavilion and Jingyi Pavilion were demolished. Dacheng hall, also known as "Confucius Temple", is an early ancient building in Lianzhou. It is exquisitely designed and majestic. It is composed of four inclined roofs, one main ridge (flat ridge) and four inclined ridges. The corners and eaves of the roof are upward warped. The roof is slightly curved, with thick heavy gold columns supporting the top of the beam. The structure is tight, the lifting and folding is gentle, the upper claw column of the flat beam is very thin, and the load of the ridge is transferred by forks, It is a traditional architectural form in China. There are a large number of woodcarvings and stone carvings in the hall, which are of great research value. They have been preserved for repair for more than 500 years since the Ming Dynasty. In 1933, a "Public Education Hall" was set up here. In the early 1960s, Lianxian youth culture palace was also located here. From 1966 to 1976, the Dacheng hall was demolished by some people, and now it's gone. Lianzhou Zhongshan Park covers an area of 8500 square meters. Since the 1980s, liexiu Pavilion and Jingyi pavilion have been renovated one after another, and various facilities coordinated with the surrounding environment have been planned and selectively equipped to add elegant and beautiful scenery and maintain their quiet style.
