Pengjiaci is located on the hillside of mingjingluo mountain, facing the southwest and built close to the mountains. In the northeast, there are dangerous cliffs, mountains and rivers. It has the tendency of "one man blocking the pass, ten thousand people can't open it". According to historical records, it was built in the middle of Qing Dynasty. It is a defensive building and is called "Shanzhai Castle" in the countryside. Its architectural form is similar to the Potala Palace in Tibet, known as the "little potala palace". It is built in a ladder shape along the hill and faces southwest. It has nine layers and rises layer by layer. To the northeast is a dangerous cliff. It is not only a ancestral hall, but also a defensive military castle. The whole building is closed and self-contained. The stone steps in the center are the only passageway, with a total of 360 levels. It still retains intact wall carvings, ancient window patterns and the plaque of "Mingyi Zhifang" left in the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty.
The threshold of each place of Peng ancestral temple is very high. At the highest place, there are pictures of Mr. Peng and his son for visitors to burn incense and pay homage. Standing at the highest place, you can have a bird's-eye view of the beautiful scenery, charming wind and light of the peak forest.
Pengjia Castle
Pengjia castle is located in Huanghua Town, Yingde City, Guangdong Province. It was first built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. The buildings are still built on top of the mountain, from the foot of the mountain to the hillside. It is very spectacular. Because its architectural form is similar to the Potala Palace in Tibet, visitors jokingly call it "little potala palace".
introduce
The whole building is closed on all sides and self-contained. There is only one stone step in the middle as the passage. There is a steep wall at the back of the mountain and a small river at the foot of the mountain. The location is dangerous, easy to defend and difficult to attack. It is a defensive fortress built by the local Peng people to resist bandits. Although it has experienced a hundred years of wind and rain, the eaves carving and window pattern of the ancient castle study are still in good condition. The "Ming Yi Fang" handed down from Xianfeng Period still shows its outstanding achievements in fighting against bandits and evils.
