Yulu Dadi fracture is a masterpiece of nature for tens of thousands of years. It has experienced a very long formation process. In the middle Mesozoic about 200 million years ago, the Yunnan Guizhou Plateau was still a harbor immersed in the sea for a long time and deposited abundant Carboniferous rocks. In the Permian, the sea water moved forward and backward frequently, and the crustal movement was very strong. Since then, the crust uplifted and the sea water retreated, and gradually exposed to the ground. By the second system of Cenozoic more than 60 million years ago and the beginning of Quaternary more than 1 million years ago, strong topographic changes had made the land of Yunnan and Guizhou rise to a plateau. Due to the strong undercutting of the river, the well-known "mountain" shaped strata are disordered, and the folds are not completely preserved due to the fracture damage. Therefore, the pores and fractures between the strata stretch for more than ten kilometers, which is very rare in Yunnan and even the whole China. Therefore, the Yulu crevice has not only a strong tourist value, but also a high value of scientific research and exploration.
