Liaoning Hemu National Forest Park is a temperate continental monsoon climate zone. The vegetation types are mainly artificial and natural trees and forests. There are 153 species of woody plants, with a forest coverage rate of 88.44%. The highest peak is shihuadingzi, with an altitude of 1019.2 meters. The scenic area is 7.5 kilometers long and narrow from east to west. The total area of the park is 1367.85 hectares.

Liaoning heme National Forest Park is located in heme village, Yongling Town, Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Liaoning Province. Its geographical coordinates are 124 ° 41 ′ 45 ″ E and 41 ° 45 ′ 50 ″ n. Four boundaries: aojiabao township of Qingyuan County in the north, Yongling town of Xinbin County in the East and Muqi town of Xinbin County in the southwest. The total area of the park is 1367.85 hectares, including 1209.77 hectares of forest land, 151.50 hectares of water area and 6.58 hectares of roads.

Liaoning Hemu National Forest Park is a branch of Longgang mountain, which is the southwest extension of Changbai Mountain system. The valley is deep and narrow, and the gully is vertical and horizontal. The average altitude is about 600 meters. The highest peak is 1019.2 meters above sea level at the junction with Qingyuan County, and the lowest is 287.8 meters above sea level at the forest farm.

Main attractions

Son and mother tortoise: in Qiaogou of Liaoning harmony National Forest Park, along the Mountaineering Road, there is a strange stone on the ridge, which looks like a big mother tortoise carrying a small tortoise. Looking into the distance, it looks realistic.

Baishilazi: in the forest sea of shenshugou, there are several white peaks rising into the clouds. The local people call them Baishilazi.

Yixiantian: in the Shipeng gully, two huge flat rocks form a yixiantian landscape with a width of about 1.0 meters (the narrowest part is less than 1.0 meters). The two rocks are both more than 10 meters high and about 160 meters long.
