summary
Du Shoutian's former residence is the property of his parents and many brothers and uncles. The Du family has been a famous family since Ming Dynasty. By the end of Qing Dynasty, there were 12 Jinshi, whose house was called "Du Fu".
Du Shi, the founder of Du's courtyard, ranks second. According to the etiquette system of Ming Dynasty, the gate of his family can open three doors and five beams. However, Du's house has only one door. The house he lives in can have five main rooms and nine beams. However, there are only three main rooms and five beams here. Du Shoutian was in the first rank. As an official, he did not buy an acre of land or add a room. Although there are many important officials in Binzhou, the residence of Du family is very common, and the decoration is also very simple. The weakness of the family property and the modesty and low-key of Du's life complement each other, while their low-key of fame and official dedication complement each other. This kind of low-key makes the once famous Binzhou Du family once little known, even disappeared in the memory of the public.
Open and unobstructed is a typical feature of Du Shoutian's former residence. There are not only gates, but also passageways in all directions of Du's courtyard, extending in all directions. In the compound, each small courtyard not only opens the back door and the side door, but also has the gateway and the corridor. There is not a closed place in the compound, which is relatively independent in space and interlinked in atmosphere. The whole compound reveals a kind of family happiness, a kind of intimacy, a kind of warm and harmonious coexistence of brothers and sisters in law. The openness and inclusiveness of the compound has forged a large number of honest officials. People who come to the political stage from here are like this building, round outside and square inside, advancing and retreating freely.
Entering the former residence, tourists will realize the true meaning of Du Shoutian's life as an official: to be modest and upright, to be patriotic, honest and diligent, to be "upright, clear, peaceful and cautious".

adapt ancient forms for the ancient serve the present. Binzhou Du family's cultural education produced 12 Jinshi in Ming and Qing Dynasties, outstanding in the country; forged a large number of upright martyrs, elegant loyal officials; cultivated the emperor. First of all, the most important meaning of Du's culture is "Zhengxin". Zhengxin is the main purpose of Confucian moral cultivation and the main body of Chinese traditional culture. What the Confucianists say is to govern the world, and the standard is benevolence and righteousness, which is intended to serve the public. According to Buddhism, the right mind is to understand the mind and to govern the body; according to Taoism, the right mind is to train the mind. The standard of the interpretation of Tao is to filter the mind. The most important characteristic of Du's culture is to supplement Confucianism with the core of Confucianism. Specifically speaking, the essence of Du's culture is to take the moral cultivation of Confucianism as the key link, cultivate oneself with Taoism, govern the mind with Buddhism, govern the world with Confucianism, and invent and practice the harmonious way of three religions. Through self-cultivation and cultivation, we can achieve "inner sage and outer king" by "stopping at the best", and "combining body with body". The way of "seeking things, learning, sincerity and correcting heart" is the "inner sage" of self-cultivation, that is, body; self-cultivation is the foundation; only self-cultivation can be promoted to the "outer king" of regulating the family, governing the country and pacifying the world, that is, use. He pursues the sense of responsibility and the spirit of responsibility of "establishing the heart for heaven and earth, establishing the life for the people, inheriting the unique learning for the saints, and opening peace for all the world", and becomes a person with noble moral character, mellow wisdom, and the ability to inherit the family and serve the country.
While inheriting and carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture, the Du family has been carrying forward the family culture and gradually formed its own characteristics. The eighth leader
