Chaoyang Gate of Xi'an city wall

Chaoyang Gate is a city gate of Xi'an and the northernmost gate on its east wall. It was opened after the founding of the people's Republic of China. As this gate faces east, it is the first gate to be exposed to sunlight every day, so it is named Chaoyang Gate. Inside the gate is Dongwu Road, outside is Changle Road.
