The village has 18 villager groups, more than 5800 people, mainly Zeng and Liao surnames. Founded in the late Tang Dynasty, it was selected by Yang Junsong, the founder of Jiangxi Fengshui school, and Zeng Wenfu, the first disciple of Jiangxi Fengshui school. The scenic spot is close to 319 National Highway and Quanzhou Nanning expressway, 13 kilometers away from Xingguo east exit, with convenient transportation. Founded in the late Tang Dynasty, it was selected by Yang Junsong, the founder of Jiangxi Fengshui school, and Zeng Wenfu, the first disciple of Jiangxi Fengshui school. It has been more than 1200 years. It is the birthplace of Chinese Fengshui culture.

On August 25, 2019, Sanliao Fengshui cultural scenic spot was given a serious warning by Jiangxi Provincial Department of culture and tourism for failing to meet the standard in the review.

On November 4, according to the Jiangxi Provincial Department of culture and tourism, Sanliao Fengshui cultural scenic spot, a national 4A scenic spot, was delisted because it failed to meet the standards in three reviews.

Development history

Due to its unique geomantic culture, Sanliao village is known as "the first village of Chinese geomantic culture" and "the birthplace of Chinese geomantic culture". Yang Junsong, the founder of geomantic omen, and his disciples Zeng Wenfu and Liao Jinjing lived in seclusion. After they established the theoretical system of Chinese geomantic omen culture, Chinese geomantic omen culture spread at home and abroad. The two surnames of Sanliao Zeng and Liao inherited and carried forward the magic of Yang Gong. Since the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, there have been many masters in Ming Dynasty. Among them, there are 36 Fengshui masters who were granted the imperial edict by Bai Yi and who were granted the title of doctor qintianjian by the emperor. In the ancient capitals of Nanjing and Beijing, famous buildings such as the Ming Tombs, the Forbidden City, the great wall and the eastern Tomb of the Qing Dynasty are all worthy of Mr. Sanliao's choice. Walking into Sanliao is like walking into a museum of Yi ology. Standing at the junction of Zeng and Liao, the shape of Sanliao village is like a Taiji Figure. The whole village is located in the basin. A strip stone in the middle of the basin is just like the pointer in the compass, so it is called "compass suction stone". Zeng village and Liao village live on both sides of the pointer, just like Liangyi in Taiji. On each side of the basin, there are four temples of Donghua, Xizhu, Antarctica and Beidou, and eight scenic spots of yupingzhang, huolongnao, jiuweishan, heheshi, duoshishi, zhanggangshi, qixingchi and ganquanjing, which seem to interpret the principle of "Taiji gives birth to Liangyi, Liangyi gives birth to four images, and four images perform eight trigrams" in the book of changes.
