Nanshan scenic spot is located in the southwest of Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, Hunan Province, with a total area of 199 square kilometers. Nanshan ranch is the largest modern Mountain Ranch in southern China, 48 km from east to west and 63 km from north to south, with an average altitude of 1760 meters. The annual average temperature is 11 meters. The climate is mild and the rainfall is abundant. 48 Ping and 48 streams are formed on the rolling surface, with good natural ecological conditions and abundant animal and plant resources. In particular, the 133 square kilometers of contiguous grasslands constitute a magnificent green ocean map "stretching to more than 100 Li and surrounding thousands of peaks", showing its unparalleled magnificent scenery of the southern prairie, enjoying the reputation of "Hulunbuir in the South" and "New Zealand in China".

The natural landscape of Nanshan scenic spot is dominated by the scenery of Alpine platform grassland in southern China. It integrates Canyon, cliff, strange stone, primitive vegetation, waterfall and flowing spring, artificial lake and strange fog. It has a magnificent and unique personality. Nanshan scenic spot is a natural grassland park integrating tourism, recuperation, summer vacation and exploration. It has five scenic spots: ziyangfeng, Laoshanjie, maopinghu, jiaolongdong and nanshanding.

Brief introduction of Nanshan Ranch

On August 8, 2016, the people's Government of Chengbu Miao Autonomous County received the notice from the national development and Reform Commission that the implementation plan for the pilot National Park System of the county was recently approved by the State Council, and the name of the park is "Hunan Nanshan National Park". The pilot application of Chengbu national park system was launched in May 2015. With the approval of the State Council in August of that year, Chengbu became the ninth County in China and one of the only counties in Hunan Province to apply for the pilot of national park system. Nanshan, Badaling in Beijing, Changbai Mountain in Jilin and Shennongjia in Hubei were equally approved to carry out the construction of national parks.

Chengbu has distinctive landform features, rich rare animal and plant resources and high protection value. The scope of Chengbu National Park integrates Nanshan national scenic spot, jintongshan National Nature Reserve, Liangjiang Canyon National Forest Park, Baiyun Lake National Wetland Park, baimaoping Township and Tingping Township, with a total area of 619.14 square kilometers, accounting for about a quarter of the whole county area, and is concentrated in the southern mountainous area of the county.

Shaoyang Chengbu Nanshan scenic spot, also known as Chengbu Nanshan ranch, is located 80 kilometers southwest of Chengbu County. You can take a bus from the county to the top of the mountain. The scenic spot is connected to the south of Xuefeng mountains, stretching for more than 80 Li, known as 80 Li Da Nan Shan. With an average altitude of 1760 meters, it is like a piece of green jade inlaid on the high mountains in the border of Hunan and Guangxi. The annual average temperature of Nanshan ranch is 10.9 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 0.5 ℃, the average temperature in July is 19 ℃, the highest temperature in summer and autumn is 28 ℃, and the average altitude of 1760 makes Nanshan ranch the lowest temperature (inhabited area) and the best summer resort in the whole province and even the whole Jiangnan region. There is no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. "In hot summer, there is no summer heat in the earth; in winter, there is no long cold.". Nanshan ranch, established in 1975, is the largest modern Mountain Ranch in southern China and also a national key scenic spot. Nanshan national key scenic spot, with the largest alpine platform grassland in China as the center, has more than 230000 mu of natural grass mountains in the scenic spot. China's first Ranch

At the end of June 2009, Nanshan breeding farm of animal husbandry received a letter from the grassland supervision center of the Ministry of agriculture of China, saying: "from the establishment time, national support, development level of grassland animal husbandry, artificial grassland area and industrialization mode, Nanshan pasture is" the first pasture in China "!"

Nanshan pasture covers a total area of 152 square kilometers, with 230000 mu of natural grassland. When the red army passed here on the long march in those years, Wang Zhen once sighed that "after liberation, we must set up a ranch here.". In 1956, Nanshan pasture began to be built. Later, under the direct concern of Comrade Wang Zhen, then Vice Premier of the State Council, Nanshan embarked on the road of planting grass, raising livestock and processing. Over the past 30 years, the Ministry of agriculture has taken Nanshan pasture as a demonstration project for the development of Grass Mountain in southern China. Together with relevant departments, it has invested more than 230 million yuan to build a high-quality artificial pasture of 130000 mu in Nanshan. It has successfully implemented the Sino Australian animal husbandry project cooperation project, agricultural comprehensive development project and airplane seeding project. It is the pasture with the most investment and the largest artificial development area. After years of development, Nanshan dairy farm has developed to 11000 cows. After the improvement of Caoshan, it has reached the international standard of raising a cow in 15 mu and a sheep in 2 mu.

There are many scenic spots in Nanshan, some of which are wonders of the world. Walking out of the city for more than a hundred miles to the south of the county, you can get to the foot of Nanshan Mountain. You can go up the Nanshan Mountain and get to the cloud. It's rugged and steep. It's full of twists and turns. In the meantime, there is the old mountain boundary, with steep cliffs and towering ancient trees on the roadside. The slogan "long live the Red Army" engraved on the trees can be discerned.

Qingtangao Shenwu District

In the Shenwu area of qingtang'ao, there are thousands of clouds, sometimes colorful clouds, sometimes a vast sea of white fog at the foot of the mountain, but there are layers of mountain waves on the mountain, one layer higher than the other; sometimes there are hundreds of fog dragons flying to the horizon.

Pastoral area

It is said that there were two immortals who once herded here, raised thousands of beef cattle and made a fortune. Here, from April to May every year, Rhododendron, Yingshan Red Valley everywhere, is a rare world of flowers.

Dayakou

Dayakou is 1760 meters above sea level. When the sun rises to the East, in the sea of fog and clouds, there are red, purple, blue, green, green and orange sea garlands, which are more distinctive than Nanyue. Every morning in summer and autumn. Looking up from afar, it seems that there are tens of thousands of golden arrows coming from the horizon, and then a big fireball comes out with a brilliant glow. Looking at the gully, there are layers of changeable silver gray fog, which looks like a vast ocean.

Dumpling hole

Jiaozi cave, formerly known as diaoshui cave, is a grand canyon surrounded by four mountains. It is several kilometers in length and breadth. The valley is more than 500 meters deep. It is a steep cliff. Whenever it rains for a long time and turns sunny, there will be many magical fog columns. The white fog is like a column. Sometimes it rises slowly from the bottom of the valley and goes straight through the sky. Sometimes it goes up and down and changes a lot. When the breeze blows, the fog columns will dance like jade dragons. This scene is endless. The lower part of the river is the famous 36 degree River, which is full of twists and turns, gurgling water and various wild animals.

Lujiahao

Lujiahao is parallel to jiaozi cave, with an altitude of 1200-1400 meters. The forest is green and the mountains are connected. It is like a fairyland. Ravines crisscross. There are mountain waterfalls, canyon springs, especially when the sunset radiation, meteorology.
